"I guess it really depends on delivery. If he said something along the lines of "babe you're getting fat and I don't find that attractive" I'd be very hurt and upset. If he said something like "babe I've noticed that you haven't been as happy and active as usual and I'm becoming concerned" then no real reason to be upset.…

Nope, I figure if my sons or husband steal a bite or two that's insurance against under estimating what I eat. I still weigh and measure everything and log it all in but I don't sweat it if a few bites don't make it in.

I really like my BodyMedia. I notice a difference based upon my activity with it from day to day and activity to activity. And honestly I wear mine all day every day (well not when I shower but you get the point). After the first day or so of wearing it I no longer noticed it. Sort of like wearing a new ring or a watch.…

Wow, yeah that's worth extra credit for sure. I'm sure that your wife really appreciates this.

So I took the fact that you're 19, 120 lbs and 5'3" and plugged it into the TDEE calculator. I only put that you are lightly active and it spit me out the goal of 1893 calories a day for you to maintain your weight. Here's the link, plug in your stats and you can tweak the activity level to best represent your current…

If it's not a daily activity I'd log it. If I had a job where I would normally be walking around and had set my goals to moderately active I would not. It will be a lot of stopping and standing too so if you are there for 4 hours maybe log it as 2 hours of walking?

That's awesome!! Keep it up!

I could do my walking after hubby gets home but once he's home I tend to want to just hang with him. Plus it's dinner prep time etc etc. If I go out during the day I miss some of the Disney show theme songs.

Mine will watch a show while I walk up and down our street. I step outside for a few minutes at a time to get my 8000 steps in. But for the next two weeks my eldest will be away visiting my mom so I'll need to figure out something else. Maybe some free exercise "dvd"s on Amazon Prime. I could do those before my cute boot…

I don't think she's "too muscular" at all. In fact I'd rather like to look like that myself. But it's a matter of personal aesthetics. Some people don't like muscular women, some people don't like men with a "runner's build". It's all subjective. So long as she's happy with her appearance that's all that really matters.

I've seen women with a perfect hour glass figure be completely masculine and I've seen women built like ironing boards be the most fem women in the room. And you seem to be in the middle of the body spectrum so it's really just in how you perceive yourself. Exercise and eat in a healthy way and dress the part you want to…

What you are describing is the beginning states of an ED. You need to be honest with your Dr so they can help you. There is healthy and there is skinny, please choose the former over the latter.

The snack jar sits on the counter taunting me. I used to work full time up until 2010 and I can't believe the difference. Stopped working and got pregnant with second in the same year. And now that he's 3 I can't really explain it away as "baby weight".

Legs, hands, arms in that order.

I'm a Disney person, my husband is a Disney person and we have two young boys. So we all went to see it. The boys loved it!! And my husband and I sometimes catch ourselves singing the songs.

I don't have a fitbit but I do have a BodyMedia Core. Same concept. It isn't necessary but I'm an #s geek and I love having it. I like knowing how well I'm sleeping at night, how many calories I burn doing stuff around the house etc. Plus I get bar graphs, nerd heaven.

Start slow with walking. Depending on your fitness level you could start with 15-20 minutes. Every week add 5 minutes until you get to 45 minutes. It can be first thing in the morning, during the day or after dinner. You can do it with friends and family, or take your headphones along. Once a 45 minute walk becomes normal…

Thanks everyone!! I walked for 30 minutes today just to keep the habit of getting up and out the door. Took my dog with me. He might join me tomorrow on day two. He's got a ton more energy then me.
