If this concerns you go and see a doctor, if you haven't been since you were eight you are way overdue anyway. Could be something ridiculously simple could be something complicated. And even though I received my Online Medical Degree in 3 easy payments of 19.99 I still don't feel comfortable diagnosing you without…

Wait are you only having a soup and salad for the day or for dinner?? Try to make sure you're getting adequate amounts of protein and carbs for energy, also experiment with what time of day you work out. Nothing is going to make me energetic at 6 am but I can do anything at 6 pm.....

You don't like chicken, fish or steak? What about fruit?? Sweet potatoes, quinoa, wild rice, carrots, sugar snap peas? None of these?

I've had it less than a month and it's really helped me realize just how inactive I have been. My profile is https://www.fitbit.com/user/3D6T29 And I'd love to make more friends for challenges.

Umm, having been in the military for 11 years I can assure you that the military does not eat that way nor would it condone eating that way. So please don't call it the "Military Diet", instead please call it the "I Don't Know Crap About Nutrition Diet" or the IDKCAND. Instead try eating a balanced diet with a reasonable…

My husband is an avid and in shape runner and he has that app. He uses it for a fun mental break more than anything else.

HBP is a silent killer because it doesn't make you feel bad. But it'll really suck when that blood vessel blows out before you get to see your kids grow up. That's what my doctor told me. She's right, and I hate taking medication but I'd really really hate for my husband to have to remarry or for my sons to not have a mom…

Yeah I had the Body Media and it was awesome but paying the monthly subscription sucked. And it was bulky. Going to get the Jawbone I think and give it a go.
-
I restarted on the 28th and just finished Wk1D3 today.

I'm in, I'm doing a couch to 5k program and I can use walking as my cross training. I'm going with a goal of 360 minutes of walking for the month of January.

I'm not sure, but massive community service sounds like it would teach her more then jail would. Like 1,000 hours reading to kids in hospitals just to rub salt in the wounds.

Hi, brand new to this and just starting restricted eating on the advice of my Dr. Not diagnosed yet but it's probable. I know my stomach is in trouble 30 -45 minutes after eating. Maybe 30 minutes after that I'm on the toilet. I have not noticed if what I'm expelling is what I just ate or not. Can I just say that I'm happy…

WTF? When did a size 8 become a larger size??
-
I just plugged the info you gave me into a TDEE calculator (http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/) and it told me you should be eating around 2200 calories a day assuming you get 3-5 hours of moderate exercise a week.

What if I'm a Libra? Should I avoid blue foods?
-
No but the mods can delete it if it violated something or it was reported enough times.
-
Was it another "y'all are so mean and no one understands me so I'm leaving thread?"
-
I plugged your #s into the Scooby's TDEE calculator and got much higher #s then 1200. Perhaps you should give that a try: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/

I'll tell you what I'd do, and have done. Keeping in mind that as a Navy wife my husband is gone for months at a time. 1.) The kids go to bed at 8pm. They don't have to sleep but they aren't leaving their rooms. Buy a gate. Buy blackout curtains if you need to but there is no reason they need to be up later. Boom you now…

Just get good shoes and start slowly. Humans are designed to be moving about on their own two legs not sitting on a sofa or in a car.

I'm a big big fan of eating (wonder how I got here?) and to me 1200 calories just would not cut it. I'm 5'2" and 206 lbs and I can eat more then that with a 20% deficit taken off. So I plugged your stats into the Scooby's Calculator (http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/) and I got the following results. You can…

Every two to three days is normal for some people. If this has always been your pattern then it's normal for you and not a concern. A "cleanse" will do nothing but clean out your wallet.

I have the Body Media Core and I love it!! I charge it while I shower and as far as I can tell it is very accurate. From me reading reviews prior to purchase it is the most accurate of the "fancy pedometers". I use it to monitor my sleep patterns as well because I have insomnia and I need to know how certain foods and…

You could also google your local running/hiking clubs and see where they suggest. Or most malls have early morning walking clubs.

Not an expert on this but I think when you begin lifting (or strenuous cardio) your body tends to hold onto water and up it's glycogen supplies. This can account for a few extra pounds. Drinking more water might help. Also if you're eating your exercise calories back you might be eating back more then you actually burned.…

Go see a Dr.
-
Yes, and your family practice or general practitioner should refer you to someone with more experience. Someone such as a dietitian.
-
Treat 8pm as breakfast, Midnight as lunch and 3am as dinner. Eat lean proteins and plenty of veggies, fruits and grains.
-
Do you have a brand recommendation? And would you say it's better mixed with water, milk, or ??
-
Yep I have a Body Media, and it works on the same concept as the others. Without it I wouldn't be nearly as active as I am.
