How fantastic! It's not about being "great" at something but spending time "doing" things with them.

I'll state upfront...I didn't bother reading what I believe (without reading) is a lame article. Don't care what their "sources" are. I love running and LOVE doing high intense exercise. I am 43 heading for 44; I am at NOT overweight and have <20% body fat. I will state, however if you are eating fatty foods (non healthy…

Definitely go get fit for shoes; they will evaluate your stride, gate, etc. I currently run in two pairs: one for the road and one for the trail. I have a high arch, but a neutral gate Road: Brooks Launch (Love, love, love these) Trail: Brooks Cascadia 7 (these have awesome tread for dirt and leaves off road)

Actually you do have control over how you run, how your foot falls. I am a runner and I am constantly correctly or modifying my stride to make it better, more efficient and have better foot contact. Here's some information on running form from Runner's World http://www.runnersworld.com/gsearch/correct%2Brunning%2Bform

Diet isn't going to tone your body...you need strength training Tough Mudder has three boot camps beginner, intermediate and advanced. You really need to squeeze in exercise; weights at least 3x per week. I know you can do it; I was a grad student and a soccer mom (actually more than that....my son played soccer, tennis,…

I'm willing to forgive but there is no longer a relationship b/c there is no longer any trust.

Not happy....I have been on a two week "bench". Saw my doctor 2 weeks ago and she says "hernia" and I cannot do anything (not even walking) until I see a general surgeon....so far I haven't heard anything (hate insurance...waiting for a consult). So my muscle is turning flaccid :( today's weight: 124 (2 lb loss) BB: 28…

Weight loss isn't hard after having your gall bladder removed. I had mine removed at age 35 or 36 and I lost 35 lbs at age 38. So, I'm not sure where the stories are coming from but they're untrue. First and foremost. I don't eat things that hurt my stomach now....ie full fat ice cream, butter, fried foods, foods laden…

It will be the last to come off...but don't give up....it WILL come off. Just persevere. Continue eating at a deficit, do cardio and lots of weight training. You will tone the muscles and the more muscle you have the more calories you burn just existing, so you are going to look better and burn more.

Um yeah...do not weigh yourself at the end of the day. Your weight can fluctuate by 5 lbs (and more) just from water alone. The best time to weigh yourself is first thing in the morning after going to the bathroom without clothes and this should be done consistently.

Eating out is maybe once per month if someone in our neighborhood "group" is having a birthday or there's something special...otherwise we might go months without eating out. So...when I do eat out? I ENJOY it! I do try to select healthier choices for my entree, but I indulge in a couple of drinks and dessert....my stomach…

Yeah I know it's hard but you are fortunate, you have an independent child. This is a good thing...though I know it hurts your feelings a little. I went through the same thing.... It really is a good thing; it means you did a great job so far. Keep up the great work. He's a well adjusted independent almost 2 year…

Why isn't an arm band an option? I have the same type phone and I buy the universal arm band from WalMart...I will mention I had to sew on some extra Velcro because my arm isn't big enough.... Oh also to note - is that I did see a clip for the same type phone for you pants...I was thinking of getting that for summer to…

Hopefully this is an April Fools b/c cat's are carnivores and if you are for ethical treatment of animals ....you are harming your cat by trying to force vegetables into him. Humans are omnivores, we can eat both...cat's NOT they cannot, they have a short intestine they cannot digest plants and they cannot get the right…

K I'm going to ask for suggestions but I think I already know the answer....so I probably have a hernia (level 1/2), no protrusion (checked online between pulled groin and hernia and it's definitely a hernia not a pulled groin - I originally thought I pulled my groin). So...I am very active run 25-30 miles per week…

I guess it depends on how I'm feeling that day/night but I do like Barcardi Rum and Diet Coke Vodka is good as long as the drink isn't too sweet (too sweet and I get a headache and upset stomach) Tequila is always good; preferable Patron Silver

So, let me just ask you one question....do you need a new size of pants and/or shirt? And I mean REALLY....I don't mean can you continue wearing your clothing for a while longer to save money or whatever....I'm saying if you were in front of Clinton Kelly and Stacy London (What Not to Wear) would they say they couldn't see…
