  • Weighing in and logging no matter how imperfect the day before. That way, I don't stick my head in the sand, which is what got me to the poundage in the first place!!
  • Some cereals are less awful than others...my kids were allowed to pick out any cereal they wanted AS LONG as it had less than 3 g sugar per serving (most of the worst offenders are 9-11). On vacation, they were allowed a box of ANY cereal, for a treat.
  • I give 'em to the dogs, they're thrilled. Right now, I just don't want the extra calories when I make an omelette, would rather saute up some onions or a bit of cheese in there.
  • I wear nothing. And I take off my jewelry, floss my teeth and clean my ears just to make sure no extra ounces sneak in....
  • Something I couldn't do before I lost that amount of weight---usually buying a smaller size anything and enjoying the trying on time of all different stuff that I might not even buy.

But I started watching netflix and hbo go on my ipad while I go and that pushes me past the boredom. I also made a rule that I can't watch this stuff on TV, has to be on the treadmill....

Anything I said or did just made things worse and I started to feel really sorry for myself in having no one to walk with and also, feeling very physically turned off to the man in my life. The person who did make a difference was his doctor,…
  • I have a Fitbit Zip (since Jan) and I swear by it. I just saw it at Target for 59 bucks.
  • I've had the fitbit zip since the beginning of January and I love it. I even stayed up late one night going on the treadmill for 15 more minutes just to cross the 20K step badge!!! I hook it my bra and that way I don't lose it and am not likely to throw it in the wash by accident since it is hot pink.
