Nope as I have 2 scales and I changed the battery on one of them. Both scales give me pretty much the same reading bar a tiny difference. On one I'm 74.6 And the other 74.5 so not much of a difference. Both are digital. I weight in boots sometimes though later during the day so I weigh a bit more on them as I'm fully…

It's been pretty much stable at 74.6

I want to lose another 15 pounds
-
No not over the past few weeks. I've been losing weight since the beginning of the year. Just lately I've been more stable with my diet and haven't been binge eating and yoyoing.

It's up to you not up to us. Never lose weight for others but for yourself. If losing weight would make you feel better you should do it. Some people tell me I don't need to lose weight but I want to lose weight because I want to feel better about myself and I feel better when I'm smaller. As long as you don't starve or do…

Eh I get this too. I can exercise a lot and not eat much but I don't see a drop or there's even a small gain on the scale. I find doing a lot of exercise makes me feel heavy (probably from the muscles retaining water) and retain a bit of water. The other poster is right, it's more about seeing the trends over time not…

Haha the comment about being naked pharmacy made me laugh  Thanks for your answers guys. My clothes are much looser; I've had to go shopping for new clothes in fact! I was really discouraged by the Boots body fat scale, but it's good to know that they're not that reliable and it's not me. I don't know if they also…

What am I meant to do to be thin then? Log every single morsel I put into my mouth, become obsessed and develop an eating disorder? Been there, done that!
-
Yes I know I'm overweight and I don't need a reality check!
-
I don't want to go on restrictive diets eating 1000-1300 cals or less and exercising a lot, but putting the weight back on because I'm constantly depriving myself. I did that before; I was on a low calorie diet, barely eating and exercising all the time and I still struggled to loose weight and I put it on even quicker!…

I feel that never I ever do works. I feel like I should stop running because to be honest I'm not seeing results and I can't seem to lose weight. I think I will go to get my thyroid tested. It seems like I'm destined to be fat. I just redid my measurements and I'm 41 inches round the hips and 29.5- 30 inches round the…

thanks for your kind replies everyone, I will try to get back on track tomorrow. No I WILL get back on track! I still can't help feeling a bit disgusting but I know once I get back on track those feelings will diminish. I think when I feel frustrated, stressed and ill I binge. This week I was so exhausted (maybe from the…

I never ask people to guess my weight; if it randomly comes up and people are talking about weight I'll say. Guessing weight is quite hard actually. Celebrity magazines always guess celebrities weights and they'll be ones that are overweight and they'll guess their weight to be 150 pounds or less but I look thinner than…

Since people are mentioning body shapes; I'm an hourglass and my weight is evenly distributed however if I gain weight it mainly tends to go to my hips and boobs.
-
I am cutting my calorie deficit enough. According to my fitbit I'm making a deficit of 1000
-
People say I look like I weigh around 9.5/10 stone (133-140 pounds). My friend from work tried to guess my weight as I wouldn't tell him and he thought I weighed 65kg.
-
I want to lose weight so bad but it going to take me forever to lose 2 stone. I feel depressed about my body. Being skinny suited me, curves dont and make me look chubby. I'm so jealous of skinny people eespecially naturally thin people
-
Thanks guys, I'll keep at it :).

thanks guys for the info, i guess everyone is different and has different metabolisms, activity levels, body type etc. i always thought that eating 2000 calories was a lot and would never help me loose weight, so i was shocked when like for example on days when i burn 2500 cals my fit bit says i can eat 2000 cals to loose…
-
dont men like burn 2500 calories?
-
but why is 2000 calories deemed as the amount that women burn not including exercise?
-
ah ok, i usually thought that you burn 2000 cals when doing a desk job and a small amount of activity. im not obese; im 12 stone (76kg) and 5"7-5"8, so not really overweight (only by like a few pounds according to bmi) and ive always been active anyway.
-
im not really thin and i dont even have a fast metabolism as i'd weigh a lot less than i do now, but i try to be active everyday. i try to walk to and from work as much as i can and i work out 3-4 times a week.
-
Thanks guys! I really hate this bmi rubbish so much but health care professionals always use it and treat it like it's accurate. I don't even think I have a big frame, I'd say medium but I do have strong bones. Weight makes me feel so low as celebrities in magazines claim to weigh x much, like 9 stone and I don't look that…

I get angry when people say I should weigh my food because for me that's obsessive behaviour and a bit OTT taking a weighing scale around with you. I don't want to go down the obsessing over every tiny morsel. I've done that and I was close to an eating disorder.
-
I don't mean to be cranky. Been feeling very stressed and tired. I hate weighing myself so much. Maybe I should give it time. Maybe it's water retention, I don't know.
-
I haven't been at that weight for months but for the past two or so months I have. Maybe I'm just impatient and I expect quick results. I've struggled with binge eating but I'm getting better. Whenever I'm 12 and a half stone and over I loose weight quickly but then it seems to stabilise and I see small changes on the…
-
thanks! your response was the only helpful and wise one.
-
im pretty sure as a very active person I don't maintain weight on what im eating. look I feel good and I see changes in the mirror, but not on the scale. im not going to obsess about every morsel of food. enjoy your crash diets and putting the weight back on. id rather lose it slowly than yoyo.

people eat low calorie diets and still loose weight
