you may also try switching up your work out. if your like me i am a creature of habit so i tend to do the same work outs on the same days ( i.e. mon/thur weight train; tue/sat cycle etc) so others have told me that my body becomes use to the workouts thus i don't get the same results as i did in the beg. long story short…

hi tricia i am no doctor or fitness health expert or anything but i was told that the calories you burn from exercise you are allowed to eat. actually you have to eat them b/c if you dont then your body goes into starvation mode and you will hold on to fat instead of burn it off. it is confusing but i am a believer. i work…

welcome! sorry there are no tricks or short cuts. best advise is to be as active as possible if you are not already, cut back on portions if they are or were usually large and stay positive that it will happen. the biggest part I THINK is mental! if you can stay positive and focussed the rest is not so challenging. Finally…

please don't get frustrated remember part of this battle is mental. i know b/c i had to acknowledge that myself. you may see others loosing what looks like more and in the same or a shorter time period but they may be heavier than you or they may be more active now than they have ever been which is like a shock to the…

i am a habitual gum chewer and i find that when i am trying to control my portions it is best to eat a small snack and then chew a piece of gum. the small snack gets food in the belly and the constant chewing of the gum tricks me mentally into thinking i am getting more than i really am. its all mental. but like the others…
