Do you have anyone who can help you? I put together a study sheet and had my husband quiz me on it while I did my workout. :o) You could also use the machines like Caroline523 suggested, that is a great way to study! :o)

Just remember that you are making a lifestyle change with trying to lose weight and that when you do get pregnant you will be healthy for you and your baby. It will happen. You will get…

I don't know about burning calories while you are driving, but I am always hungry after a long drive (it would take be about 3 hours to get back to school when I was in college and it takes about an hour to get most campsites and such). I started taking snacks when I went was going to be driving for an hour or more. The…

Good hurt though! :o) I think I am really going to like the DVD. :o)

Okay all ... I haven't been on here for the week and I feel like such a slacker. I didn't get any intentional exercise in at all. Lots of things kept getting in the way... that is not going to happen any more. I did get a lot of walking in though. My stepdaughter (17) will be graduating high school next year so we were…

So, this was not a good week for working out. All sorts of things jumped in the way and kept me from being able to get any exercise in. GRRRRRRRRR...... I stayed at or under my calories so I am hoping to maintain my weight for this week. I don't think I will have lost anything again, but I will be happy with maintaining.…

I heard it wasn't going to be back on until March 1 (Next Tuesday). Did I hear that wrong? I didn't do very well this week! Had a lot of stuff come up throughout the week that kept me from working out. I kept my food where it needed to be but got almost NO exercise!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR..... Hopefully next week will be better.…

I'm not sure if you do any of the yoga stuff on the WII Fit Plus but I always start my time with the Deep Breathing, Half Moon, and Sun Salutation Poses. They get me mostly stretched out before I start working. I take a minute to stretch out my calves and arms before starting the rest but those really help to stretch…

Jalara I understand the frustration. Please don't give up! I know that it can be so hard to work and try and do everything right and never see that scale move. You just have to keep working at it. Eventually you will see that movement that you are looking for. Have you tried including any sort of supplement. A few years…

I remember reading somewhere that you should try mixing up your caloric intake. That way you can keep you body guessing as to what it has coming in each day so that it can't just sit back and do what it has been. The idea was to maintain a consistent calories per week but to change the number of calories per day. e.g. If…

Yesterday was my weigh in day and I haven't lost anything. I have only been doing this for about 1 week though so, I'm not too concerned about that. :o) I am hoping to see some results next week though :o) SW - 232 CW - 232

Thanks... as much as I know it is going to take some time to start seeing that movement, it's good to hear!!! :o)

I would like to jump in here too! :o) My husband and I have been talking about TTC later this year. Our son will be 2 next month and I would like to have around 3 yrs between him and his little brother/sister. I gained about 50 lbs when I was pregnant with him and have only lost about 20 of that over the last 2 years. I…

The first thing I would suggest is to find a support group (NA or some sort of equivalent) with people who can directly relate and understand what you are going through. I always thought those groups sounded cheesy and useless but my cousin had to get clean after being arrested for running a cook shop. He went to jail for…

Okay... so my best friend got engaged on Saturday. :o) I am soooo excited for her! However, they have already set the date, they've been talking about getting married for a while now, and they are getting married on August 7th. I am going to be a bridesmaid so that means that I only have about 21/22 weeks to get myself in…

My husband was teasing me because I was having a hard time with some of the games when I first got my WII Fit.:grumble: Then he got on and it was my turn!!!! :o) We have a lot of fun competing against each other to see who can get the highest score on different games. It's nice because he can play when I'm busy and…

That obstacle course is going to be the death of me. I get soooooooooooo close and then boom, off into the water!!! GRRRRRR ;O) Congratulations on completing it. Don't feel silly about jumping around the living room. I will likely do the same when/if I ever beat it :o)
-
I love mine! I use it almost every day and love to play the games and it is a great way to get some exercise in without really feeling like I'm exercising. It's lots of fun!

I use regular rechargeable batteries for my board. I use regular batteries for the remote though. My brother bought the rechargeable thing for his WII remote but has a hard time getting them to keep a charge for a lengthy time. :o)
