To be a good example for my two sons To be able to survive the police academy this August To finally feel good about how I look and feel To be able to not have random pains in my joints from being overweight To finally be the person I see in my head and not the person others see when they look at me

Medifast is the bandaid approach to the problem. Yea you may drop weight at the beginning but it is not sustainable for life. Learning to eat right (variety and portions) and exercising is a much better plan that the easy way out. Sure it is not as sexy but slow and steady is the better way in the long run.

Once a week - same day and around the same time to be consistent. Weighing daily is counterproductive and is not healthy. Too many variables can cause someone to gain one pound or lose a pound. Pick a day and time and stick to it.

Took sheer willpower. Did much better on the other two days and it actually got easier. Week 5 aint no picnic either with 5m run, 3m walk,…

I know I eat the same breakfast everyday and alternate lunches during the week. It helps with planning and shopping quite a bit.
