  • Chris & Heidi Powell use carb cycling with all of their clients -- including those on Extreme Weight Loss. The idea is that it's only for body builders & fitness models doesn't really make sense in that case. I would suggest checking out chrispowell.com & his books.
  • I'm reading Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes. It's technically a kids book, I guess, but a good book is a good book regardless of who it's written for.
  • Love that poster! I shared it on my blog's Facebook page even because they're all so true. I only recently started giving myself permission to quit reading something. Luckily I don't find myself having to do it often :)
  • I'm Karen ... long-term book geek and fairly new book blogger. My blog is here & my GoodReads is here. I'll also accept any friend requests here, of course!
  • I love my books ... but I also love the ease of being able to carry thousands of ebooks around with me on my phone/ipad/whatever. And the lit screen makes it a LOT easier to read in bed :)
  • I am ever so thankful for this!!! I'm a numbers junkie and things just haven't been working out for me. Now hopefully I'll be able to make some progress and not have to scrap my BodyMedia Link out of frustration!
  • Oh gosh .... my Katch BMR is SOOOO much lower than BMF or MFP! I'll be tweaking with the new numbers and hopefully the scale will start moving again! (Now ... once I have it set with BMF, how do I get right on MFP? Any ideas?)
  • The Wendie Plan was the only way WW ever worked well for me way back when .... so I'm doing it again just with calories now. It can get confusing remembering which is high and low so I've written out a little cheat sheet that I taped to my desk, Every morning I adjust my settings here accordingly before I start going about…
