If you are not eating meat, ask your dr to recommend a B12 vitamin for you to take. I take mine in a multi vitamin. As far as protein, beans and quinoa have alot of proten. All vegetables have some protein and peas have alot of protein. Nuts also have protein. And if you eat fish, as others have mentioned that a good…

I confess I have succumbed to the stress of my son waiting to the last minute to finish a project. He is stressing out, stressing ME out, and basically acting like a big baby. I have eaten the Cheetos. More Cheetos than I care to admit. Why do sixth graders have to do art type projects instead of just a freaking plain old…

Chewing gum does help me because it gets a good flavor in my mouth and if I'm not really hungry but just want something thats a great choice for me. I also love chicken broth which is low calorie. Eating some raw carrots or celery and then drinking chicken broth helps keep me satisfied between meals at times.

You can order fish made simply without sauce and steamed vegetables. Most restaurants will do this upon request. There are other menu adjustments…

That you are capable and can accomplish things, to work on self confidence, not to use food as entertainment.

This happened to me also. I lost 50 pounds and then just helplessly watched myself gain 25 of them back. All that hard work and I did nothing as I easily gained them back. I can't explain why I did this. Now I'm back and I am feeling so much more in control as I again relose weight I already lost. I think there are no easy…

If it helps at all, I was prediabetic about 2 years ago. My doctor told me to eliminate all added sugars, all processed sugars. I was told it was ok and even encouraged to eat fruit and vegetables. She said if I was going to eat fruit high in sugar to also make sure I ate something like nuts or egg whites with it so that I…
