I too always yo yo, I think its a struggle for alot of us. I don't have an easy answer. But I will say I think we deserve credit for picking ourselves up and trying yet again since not everyone does that.

I'm 5'2" and the struggle is very real! I have yo yoed my entire adult life, I have never been successful at maintence but I will keep trying. Right now I need to lose around 15 pounds but would be thrilled if I lost 5 pounds. Eating under 1200 calories is super challenging. I'm happy to accept any friend requests.

All those snacks of carrots and celery, be careful, you are going to gain weight.

I'm 5'2'' and have about 15 more pounds to lose. The frustrating thing for me in relation to my height is that my friends who are taller can eat more simply because of their height. I know life isn't fair and I am dealing but yeah I think about it at times.

Enlightened has 100 calorie packs of different flavored dried beans, they are sooo yummy if you can find them anywhere. They also have a website.

I'm constantly losing weight, regaining it and losing again, have been my whole adult life, the most I have ever lost is 50 pounds, some times its as low as 20 pounds that I need to lose. I feel like I am really really good at gaining weight, pretty good at losing weight, but I am utterly horribly terrible at maintaning…

I will eat a head of lettuce at a time. While I don't weight it, I count it as 53 calories. However I'm lazy and I should weight it.

I stopped drinking caffeine twice (am still off it). Both times i had a few days of the most horrible headaches I ever had, light hurt, noise hurt, my vision was effected. And I was only drinking one cup a day.

It probably did increase with weight loss, one of the ways nature is fighting back against weight loss. For me personally it takes about 45 minutes to stop feeling hungry. So maybe eat. drink alot of water and give it 45 minutes? I would be interested to know if this works.

What I do if I"m hungry and its not time to eat is I will eat an entire cucumber or a whole head of lettuce or a giant plate of steamed vegetables. If I don't want to eat these things then I say to myself how hungry can I really be.

I'm at 1200 and I agree its difficult. But the rewards are worth it.

This book helped me The Beck Dit Solution:Train Your Brain To Think Like a Think Person The bottom line is yes this is hard but not impossible, you have to be willing to make the commitment.

I love cheese....I miss cheese :-( Me too

I would questions this. Especially considering coconut oil is a saturated fat based oil vs olive oil which is a unsaturated fat based oil. This

I am in love with cheese, its my absolute favorite food, I dream about cheese.

While this frustrates me, I feel its something I need to work on because you can't change other people, only yourself. So I try to ignore it and smile. No way is someone going to pressure me into eating something, this is hard enough.
-
If they say it once I would just smile and change the subject. If they keep bringing it up I would say thank you anyway, I choose to eat my way. I am sure others may have more imaginative responses.

I am jealous that taller people can eat more calories simply because they are taller.

I know I struggle with eating within my calorie range and for me personally there are many reasons why. One of them is that the results are not immediate. Another is that I know it doesn't help to eat within your calorie range for a week or a month or even a year, this is something I need to do for the rest of my life (of…

I would suggest looking at the next few months as experimenting to see what works for you. Not everything you try is going to work and thats ok because over time you are fine tuning your approach to weight loss. So do not get discouraged the times you do not see the weight loss you anticipated, this is a process. As long…

I think you are doing great losing weight. I also want to add that sadly, it does get harder to lose the older we get. I have experienced this first hand.

Welcome, good luck!

As others have said, I would not focus on the number 45 (and I question a suggestion like that). However you of course can focus on steady weight loss and you are in the right place where there is a ton of support and help! Its very simple really, figure out your calorie goal, then design a diet that sticks to that calorie…
