I'm not expert, but weight fluctuations are normal. In my case, for example, my weight will fluctuate +3/-1 lbs during the day usually trending up. If this thing messes with you then maybe you should weight yourself once a week instead of daily.

Are you working with a physical therapist? FWIW you don't need to exercise to lose belly fat because you cannot spot reduce. You can essentially lose weight with calorie control. Since you still hurting even after your back surgery you may need a doctor's or a physical therapist's advise before doing any exercise.

07/03: 3.1 I was not able to run the last two days. Yesterday for some odd reason I had a knee pain. Today is gone, but still prevented me of running the last two days. My ideal goal is 60 miles, but realistically I may do just 40 miles. I'm setting my goal to 50 miles hoping that I can reach that goal. Good luck everyone…

06/01-06/29: 65.5 06/30: 3.1 I surpassed my initial goal by a little over 10%. I thought that I was going to get to 80 miles, but some issues prevented me of accomplishing that. Hopefully next month I will get to 80 miles. Happy running everyone!

@Teresa502 I love your shoes 🤗I also run in Brooks Ghost 12. One of the few shoes that come in extra wide. Unfortunately my number sold out, so I may need to switch to the Adrenaline GTS 20. Plus I'm hoping that the Adrenaline will help with my ankle problems.

06/01-06/26: 60.9 06/27: 4.6 I haven't run the last three days because I have been having some minor ankle problems plus my only pair of running shoes got wet when I ran in the rain three days ago. I am hoping that I can reach 80 miles this month. Have a nice weekend everyone.

06/01-06/22: 58.4 06/23: 2.5 Mission accomplished! This are the most monthly miles I have ever run. I may actually do 80 miles this month.

06/01-06/21: 53.4 06/22: 5 (non consecutive miles) Started the 10K program. I caught a heavy rain in the middle of my run. I had so much fun running in the rain 🤗🤗🤗 Looks like I will complete my goal by tomorrow.

06/01-06/18: 47.9 6/19: 2.3 I wanted to do at least 3, but the heat was too intense (90° here). 😞 On the bright side, I may be able to do 70 miles this month. Have a good weekend everyone. This is the first month that I may actually complete this challenge.
