Life has gotten in the way this past few years with my mother's health declining. Glad to be joining another challege. Good…

Still not losing weight. This weather in MA has been awful! We are getting yet another blizzard tonight. I gave up drinking in early December and have been doing an hour of cardio most days. I just have to dig deeper! The 6' of snow we have had this month vanishing would help too!

Thank Globug583! I have found this to be true when I exercise. People have commented on my "weight loss" in the past when the scale has not moved. At almost 50 my goal is not to lose muscle. I am trying to stick to the path I am on and make adjustments to what I am doing when needed.

Thank you for the great tips! This weight loss journey is not easy but I am not planning on giving up! Hopefully I will see some results on the scale this month! Best of luck everyone meeting your February goals!

I have not lost any weight since January 1st, but I gave up drinking alcohol Dec. 10th and am working out for an hour most days. I do not eat fast food or drink soda, so I am doing a lot of things right! Any words of wisdom from the steady losers? I know my eating habits could be more structured.

You are welcome Patti.

Life has completely gotten in the way this week! My plan for my mini goal was to get sneakers for working out every day this week. Well, I worked out all but one day. I changed my profile picture and felt like we were getting closer to spring! Ground Hog Day is next week! I had a spring to my step. We are now having an…

Never heard of a Tough Mudder. I did look it up and I see Vermont is the closest one to me. It looks like fun! It would not be for me because I treasure my personal space and I generally do not like mud on me, but quite a workout! Good luck!

Very much pouring in my life at the moment 2 pieces of advice I fall back on in difficult times. 1. The K.I.S.S theory which stands for keep it simple stupid 2. No one is going to give you a break in life you need to ask for one or take it when you need it!

Yes you can see why Rob rubs me the wrong way! Life can be extremely messy and often times when it rains it pours! I am blessed, but it was a lot of hard work along the way that got me here. Now I just need to lose these 29lbs!

Really liked the show a lot! I certainly wasn't doing those exercises when I was pregnant. I was over 40, pregnant with twins and a cancer survivor. I was watched like a hawk. When I did have Hodgkin's Disease at 33 I fought for my life! I walked most days 6 miles a day and did everything medically I was told to do. 16…

I will continue to workout every day! I am really finding this to help me stick to my calorie goal. Exercise is also helping me to not get stressed out. I will buy a new pair of running shoes if I do this. I will deserve them! Because let's just say Rob could not handle my upcoming week!

Great to read this morning! I also am staying positive, working out and making better lifestyle choices. The weight loss should come together in time!

You have lost so much weight Baby43204 you don't have as much to lose that is why it is harder. Can you get some weights for your house? With 2 jobs getting to a gym will be very hard! If you like the video workouts I would stick with them. Are there any empty calories in your diet you can take out like soda? Be kind to…

I belong to a gym and have a gym buddy. I have an exercise bike and stairmaster at home. I have a dog who is a good walking buddy. I am drinking more water. Gave up drinking alcohol a month ago to help with weight loss. Joined an Easter Challenge on MFP.

Rob really reminded me of Chris Farley doing a Saturday Night Live character! OMG! I really can not go a week without life getting in the way. We all need stratagies to cope. He literally has tantrums! My kids are 8. I think it has been about 5 years since I have had to deal with those kinds of outbursts. Big losses! Toma…

My primary exercise during the cold winter months in MA is my stairmaster. Today I did 50 minutes and burned 500 calories. That is th plan for every day this week. I will report back at the end of the week.

I live in Massachusetts about an hour from Boston. I have 8 year old boy/girl twins. I am 49 and I have 30 lbs to lose to get back to my prepregnancy weight. I turn 50 in September, and I want to be at my goal weight by then. I am very motivated! I am happy I am on MFP, and found this group to help me on my journey!
