Thanks Cupcaker35! No medications. I was on Metformin (sp) but took myself off because of cost and because I am a bad pill-taker and didn't remember to take it half of the time. I need to be on this site daily and track everything, lose weight and regulate it that way instead of taking pills. The problem is, is that when I…

I haven't been on here or followed my MFP plan for a long time. Today, I logged in, went for a walk/run, with some wall pushouts and stayed under my calorie goal!!! YAY!

("but eat the ones with dietary fiber and low carbohydrates, you don't want to be constipated), with very low amounts of carbohydrates") From the quote above, can you list what some of these carbs are??? A good, long, list? :) Thanks!

I have been cutting down on bad carbs and I have really noticed a difference. I've been doing the Chris Powell 'High Carb/Low Carb' diet and I have been pretty happy with the amount my muffin top has shrunk.

Well good job on the weight loss! That's awesome since you are layed up from surgery. I am just confused about the amount of carbs and he doesn't really pin that down in the book. Like yesterday on a high carb day, I had 150 g of carbs. Today is a Low carb day and I have followed his recipes in the book and have racked up…

Yum! I just bought the first ever protein whey drink yesterday. I got chocolate. Its not great tasting and I don't think you can add that much stuff to it to change the taste. I should have bought vanilla so I can add fruits to it like yours. Oh well. Next time. :)

Studies show that to keep your metabolism boosted and really revved up for the day, you should eat something within 1 hour of waking. Even something small gets your system working.

BUMPITY BUMP BUMP The best I have run so far is 1 1/2 miles nonstop in 16:20:04. 16 minutes, 20 seconds and so on. Some days I can run this nonstop and feel great. Other days, it kills me and I have to stop and walk 10 steps in between. Why is it that some days you can run forever and others you can't run hardly any at…
