A little about myself - I consider myself a lifelong runner and have been running since high school. I recently completed my 2nd marathon back in December right before becoming pregnant. Also before finding out I was pregnant (end of December) I signed up and paid for a half marathon that is happening this Sunday -March…

Thanks! This really helps to put me at ease. My next appt is March 20th, so I will mention it to my physician and see what she says!

Hi all, I had also posted in the other September thread, but since this does seem more active I will post here too! I am 14 weeks pregnant with my husband's and my first child :) we are very excited and our EDD is 9/9/14. My first trimester was exhausting! I had nausea, food aversions, and fatigue. Now that my second is…

A couple months into my pregnancy my normal 34 Cs were no longer fitting, I went to the maternity store and after she measured me she told me I was a DD... The look of shock on my face must have been apparent because she looked back and asked if I was ok... Though not quite as hard to find as the larger cup sizes you are…

Great idea! I also want to do cloth diapers as well. I have a friend who keeps a thermos of warm water and a paper towel-like cloth near the changing station and just uses that for baby wipes when she is at home.

Hi all! I'm due early September (9th). I am in the middle of my 10th week and have had morning sickness (mostly in the form of nausea and only a little vomiting), Exhaustion (whoo am I tired all the time!) and headaches :( I have actually lost about 3 lbs since finding out I am pregnant, mostly do to the nausea and the…

I'm due early September (sorry to crash the thread! but no one has started a September one). I am just really happy to be reading all your experiences! I am in the middle of my 10th week and have had morning sickness (mostly in the form of nausea and only a little vomiting), Exhaustion (whoo am I tired all the time!) and…

New goals for this month... gain 1 - 2 lbs. I found out last month that I am pregnant :) So far I have been able to maintain my current weight for the first two months, but today I was down 2 lbs. So by the end of this month (and the end of my 1st trimester) I would like to get back up at least a pound. Goal: Eat healthy,…

Thanks for all the support! Since I am fairly early in my pregnancy I have not yet had the chance to talk to a doctor yet. I went yesterday to get my OBGYN referral and confirm the pregnancy. Got the call today to schedule my first appt and am excited to say it will be next Thursday :) Oh and while I was originally…

Thanks! Glad to hear I am not the only one! and awesome job to you both for losing weight from your last pregnancies!

It is a little hard to find the easiest way I found it was to go to the groups tab, search for "a goal a month" and refine your search to most active (default is most members) here is our group image:

For those of you who are also looking for the group on MFP the easiest way to find it is to go to the groups tab, search for "a goal a month" and refine your search to most active (default is most members) here is our group image:

Yay! glad to have you on board! Just add your name and weight and goals to the sheet!

Hi Liz! Eating on a budget can be difficult! I feel that it is that much harder to stay on track when buying fresh healthy ingredients can cost $10+ just for one person and buying a McChicken or McDouble is only $1 from McDonald! For me I've found that when I've had the best success is when I have had a plan and or…

↑ this! A friend of mine once got really sick and lost a lot of weight and appetite because of it... her doctor told her to eat two big spoonfuls a day! Also nutella or Justins nut butters are a tasty treat too that will do the trick with similar protein ratios as PB! I also agree with all the avocado votes too!

If you can do it go for it! Personally I hate tracking water and I suck at doing it ... even when it is part of a challenge. I just try to drink when I am thirsty and I pretty much stick to water for my fluids

This year: work on speed in general: Sub 25 5k (would ideally like to get closer to my high school race day pace of 7 min miles) Sub 2 hour half (signed up for one in March)

Not so much mantras... but I do hear my old high school coaches in my head - usually when coming up to a hill I can hear them say "Drive with the knees" "Pump with your arms" "Keep your eyes on the target" "Breath"
-
I only have 136 miles planned for August... but as I get closer to my Marathon date 200 will be more like it!
-
I do run with a lot of gear... but for good reason - the phone is on my arm and its for safety and for tracking milage via runtastic. I also run with a water belt - this is not just for me but my dogs too I have a bottle for me and one for them :). The only other thing I run with is the leashes for the dogs - if I could…
