WOW amazing! Glad to see all your hard work is paying off!

The training plan looks pretty solid to me! I would definitely do some sort of cross training like biking or swimming on your non training days.. but that's just me. As far as food goes I find that I run the best when I leave out processed sugars the day before my intense runs. I try to stick with light foods like fruits,…

Mine is an american lab and so far I've been able to take him up to 6 miles with me and he does great.. I just started out slowly with him at 2 miles and then crept up. I also bring two water bottles with me ... one for me and one for him ☺

I'm always on the look out for more running pals :) I run with my dog too. He is a tall lean black lab ☺ Buster:

My dog! It feels weird to run without him.. and I also feel bad leaving him because he gets so excited when I put my workout gear on.. so when I leave the house without him I definitely feel bad :(

• Its summer so i ♥ fruit! The local farmers markets have amazing peaches, nectarines and plums right now! Cherries are also in season. • Jicama with lime and chili! (its the best ☺) • Popchips • Almond (especially love blue diamond coconut flavored ones right now) • Fudgesicles (40 cals each)

When I plateau I take a week off and then jump start my wt loss by changing my exercise up and starting with a low cal/fast day - I never usually eat nothing .. but I will take a day and eat fruit instead of meals, drink lots of water and aim for 500-700 calories in that first day. after that I amp up my exercise and bring…

I am also excited to have another challenge! I stayed at 140 for weeks after the last challenge but unfortunately the last two weeks - three weeks I snuck up to 145 :( SO I need this challenge! I want to hit 135 buy the end of this challenge and 130 for wedding day! EDIT: Ok so I just saw that the 12 weeks ends sept 15…

So I stayed at 140 for a while after the last challenge.. but over the last two weeks I started running more and appearently took the liberty to eat more too :( So for this challenge I am started out at 145.6 :( I need this challenge! I would love to reach 130 in the 12 weeks... but I feel that a more appropriate and…

I have tried a few things and here is what worked and didn't work for me personally: I'll start off by saying currently I have a water belt with two 10 oz bottles and one pouch large enough for my phone or gel packs. The one I am using now is the ironman brand and I love it. with that said I have also tried running with…

I agree with David it's going to be hard for most people to say what it's like for you since you have the thyroid issue even with medication its really hard for people with hypothyroidism to get past the weight gain. when I train for marathons I tend to lose weight without really thinking much about it so perhaps for you…

I am a huge bored eater! I try to combat it with a few tricks - if I think I am hungry I drink a glass of water first then wait 10 mins and see if I am still "hungry".I also will try to pack fruits and veggies to munch on. another thing I have noticed is if I have coffee or tea the caffeine seems to suppress my appetite.…

My plans are to RUN RUN RUN! I have a marathon in December and would like to complete it in less than 4 hrs. I am also hoping the extra milage with help with the extra pounds!
-
I agree with many of the previous posts as well! Take it easy and see how it goes, I agree that it is so much more enjoyable to run outside.. I find that I often max out at 3 miles on the treadmill because I get so bored! but outdoors I can run as long as my legs carry me often 3-5 miles, longer if I am training for a…
