This is something I have always struggled with, the way I handle it is of course to try and not binge, but when I feel the urge I work out like crazy first. That way if I still feel like binging I can and it's not nearly as bad, but a most of the time I feel that working out totally curbs my appetite. Try working out the…

No, your body will only go in to starvation mode if it doesn't have enough calories to maintain normal functions. Your body doesn't care if those calories come from chicken breasts or red velvet cake, it just needs them to survive. And cheat days are actually less important than you might think. Scheduled cheat meals say…

P90x isn't bad if it works for you, in the end it's exercise. But assume for arguments sake it takes $200 to buy P90x, which is just a series of dvds, no new info or anything, couldn't that $200 go to something better that will allow you to change your workouts to how you see fit? Say a gym membership maybe?

I'd say more likely than not you're just getting kind of bored with your walk. Try listening to music while you walk, and also the hydration is a big factor. Drink lots of water while you're exercising (obviously), but make sure you hydrate before (like 5-6 hours) you exercise too.

My gym has an infrared sauna. Odd things usually happen around there, but one time I walk in lateish at night (8 or 9) and theres a guy in there buck naked...

Starting off at the gym can be intimidating, but there are things for everyone at any level to do. First off what does your gym have? I'll assume it's a normal gym with ellipticals, treadmills, etc. Ellipticals are great, and in the long run better for you. They take a lot of the "stomping" weight off of your ankles (if…

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SPOT FAT REMOVAL! Lol That flab may be particularly hard to get rid of because (if you run a lot) I'm assuming you have a low-ish bf %. If it is flab you can keep on running or try a meal plan for a short time called carb-cycling, here's a link http://www.scoobysworkshop.com/carbcycling.htm If it…

Yup there's a difference, I'll explain Whey and Casein protein both come from dairy products, they're related to each other, but not exactly the same thing (I'll explain more in a sec) Soy protein comes from soybeans (or it should) and from what I've seen it tends to have slightly less protein for how much you're actually…

Weight and BMI are kind of iffy numbers. They are tools that you should definitely take into account, but body fat % can be a better indicator. Weight is obviously what you weigh, but can easily fluctuate 5lbs or more during the day. BMI is a height to weight ratio so that too can fluctuate and doesn't really show if you…

Frankly don't worry about it too much! It's good that you feel a little bad because that shows that you definitely care about your own health, but one "bad" salad isn't going to hurt you too much, especially compared to a lot of the other things you could have gotten.

For most of us the mid-section is the first place the fat goes on, and the last place it comes off. To get good looking abs it's about 95% cardio and nutrition and 5% ab exercises. If you get you body-fat % down to about 6% and do ab exercises here and there you will likely have pretty good looking abs. For actual ab…
