  • I honestly don't reckon so. I used to have some gargantuan binges and never gained as much weight as I should have, or would have if I had been consistently overeating rather than sporadically binging.
  • Are you taking rest days? How much are you eating and how much are you burning in your workouts?
  • I drink decaff because coffee makes me feel terrible but I love the taste so I don't want to give it up completely. Try that? :)
  • Yes, it's fine! :) It could be that your stomach is small due to eating such small amounts in the past. Not eating enough can mess with your hunger/fullness signals too. Your body will get back to normal at some point and you'll stop feeling full all the time. Good luck, and congratulations on getting into the right track…
  • Do you have an anxiety problem? I do and I grind my teeth when I'm anxious. I looked it up a while ago because I was sick of getting headaches from clenching my jaw and found that it's not uncommon to grind your teeth when stressed/anxious.
  • Seroquel as a sleeping aid...? It's an anti psychotic. Granted it does knock you out, but nobody should be prescribing you it for that reason. See your doctor about changing to something else asap. Both me and one of my friends with bipolar have been prescribed that in the past, both absolutely hated it, both felt like…
  • Don't panic, just go back to your regular eating habits and it'll fall off pretty quickly. Usually when that happens to me I'll be back to normal within a week or two because it's mostly water weight from excess carbs and salt. Drink plenty of water, get some tough workouts in, walk around, sweat.
  • I've never followed any kind of program. I know what works for me personally, so I'd rather stick with it. It's pretty simple in my case - I eat lots of whole foods, mostly plants plus eggs/greek yogurt/cheese/fish and I treat myself to something less healthy once a week usually. I eat however much I feel like I need to.…
  • I think it's fine! I most often exercise at night just because I prefer it. I tend to have too much energy at night and not during the day so it works for me and I've never had any problems with it. But I do always eat something afterwards, even if it's really late.
  • Anywhere between about 70 and 150g, mostly depending on how active I am. I just find that I do better with higher protein and fat so I try to concentrate on those.
  • Yep, this. You just need to add in some more calorie dense foods, so healthy fats are always a good option. When I notice that I haven't eaten enough I usually grab some nuts and a banana, or just eat some peanut butter straight out of the tub.
  • Honestly it just needs to be lifted, which means gaining muscle. But try not to be self conscious in the mean time, your butt really isn't that bad. I've seen far worse. :P
  • You look amazing <3 nice work :D
  • Not exactly! I weigh up to 5 pounds more the week BEFORE, and then it all drops off when I start. Doesn't bother me at all, it's only water.
  • I binge ate a lot when my bipolar took a turn for the worse a few years ago - mostly because of the depression. It was pretty shocking when it started happening because I'd always been slim and a healthy eater. I was naturally underweight up until I was 16 and I started binge eating. I'd eat very healthy most of the time…
  • At my HW I was very pear shaped, and now I'm not at all. For some people, like me, it's just a matter of getting rid of the fat stored in your lower body. You can't spot reduce. Just keep to a deficit and you'll see your measurements shrinking over time.
  • Definitely eat more avocado! It's so good for you. Nuts, nut butters, coconut, hummus and olive oil are all good choices too. Cook veggie stir fries in sesame or peanut oil, tastes really good. :) I personally notice that I feel terrible mentally and physically if I don't eat enough fat, I would make sure you're getting at…
  • The only time I ever had a problem with that is if I wasn't eating enough during the day. If you're genuinely hungry, I say eat more.
  • IMO walking is perfectly fine for exercise. :) It burns calories so obviously will help you to lose weight and it benefits your health in many ways. It's good for the mind too which is so important. I would pair it with strength training though!
  • I can't see the pictures because I'm on my tablet, but when I was at my highest weight I HAAATED my face so much more than my body. I have full cheeks/store a lot of extra chub in my face for some reason and at my HW I just felt like a hamster. Now I never feel like my face looks fat. So yeah, it can get better! :)
  • Hilariously stupid. It's down to the individual whether they are disciplined enough not to gain the weight back.
  • Your body can change shape A LOT. Like at my HW I had a big butt (44 inches) and now it's 35. I was really surprised, I thought it'd always be big. I went from a pear shape to more of a ruler. to to answer your question, you could well completely lose your love handles over time. :)
  • 5'6, 123 pounds, a size UK 6-8 on top and sometimes a 10 on bottom, although usually an 8.
  • Greek yogurt with a banana and pumpkin seeds. And a protein shake. Because breakfast?
  • I usually am up to 5 pounds heavier a week before mine, and then it drops off when I get my period. I'm always noticeably puffy too. It honestly doesn't matter, it's just a natural part of your cycle.
  • I get really happy and excited when I work out? I figure it's endorphins.
  • Greek yogurt (sometimes mix protein powder in if I'm really hungry, it's very filling) An apple Cheese stick Cottage cheese - dip carrot in it, spread it in celery, etc Sometimes I'll just have a bowl of lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion, etc Ryvitas with cottage cheese or salsa or hummus
  • Sounds like you're doing great! I think that's plenty exercise. Don't be tough on yourself, just stick with it and you'll see results. As others have said, you don't want to risk burning yourself out. Especially with the stress your body has been through!
  • Had a whole calzone on Saturday. Oh well. It was seriously good. Gained a pound which disappeared the next day, so no harm done! I plan on cutting down on the splurges after summer - I see friends too much in summer to be TOO controlling about what I eat.
  • 5'6 126 pounds 16% body fat last time I was measured 32 24-25 (seems to vary often) 35 Thighs are 20 and calves 14. I always feel like my calves are very big?!
