@macrotracko thanks for sharing your experience! I'd love to hear your results when you get your next bfp scan. I think I might try focusing on a smaller deficit and see how that goes. What were your macros before you started 40/30/30? Do you think it makes a big difference from 40/40/20 ?

What a relief to find other petite ladies going through the same thing! I'm 4.10 and about 99lbs and definitely don't want to lose weight, but like most of you, want to burn fat and add muscle! I just started Body Beast (weight lifting program) and reduced cardio to 1x a week. For those of you with a similar goal (lose…

I'm in a very similar situation! I'm super petite (4'11" and +/- 99lbs) and at a healthy weight but really need to change my body's composition. If I figure it out I can post pictures lol, but I'm just really confused about what is best for me at this point. On the one hand, to burn fat I know cardio is more effective but…

@jensurr: I'll try upping my calories a bit over the next few weeks and see if that helps make any changes, thanks for the suggestion! How long have you been doing Body Beast? When did you start to notice results? I'm only on Day 3 today (Build Legs is no jokel I'm definitely gonna be hobbling around today lol) so I know…

So would you recommend eating at a caloric surplus to facilitate muscle building or should I eat a maintenance/deficit level to continue losing fat?

Wow, what a great thread! I recently finished Insanity and while I definitely noticed a change in my cardio endurance, I didn't really see any of the physical changes I was looking for (inches lost, mostly). I took measurements and before/after photos and there was almost no change. I eat very healthy or "clean" as people…

Hey! I'm actually interested in doing the same hybrid. I will be finishing my last week of insanity this week and really love my results. I want to try out a P90x workout but was wondering what you thought of x3. Is 30 minutes really enough time to get in a good workout? I already have T25 and x3 so I'd be ready to start…

I seem to be having the same problem, except I'm even more petite. I'm 4.10 and probably weigh about 98-100lbs, I really don't use the number on a scale to judge anything since I know I'm not overweight and my overall goal is to gain muscle which will make me weigh more. The problem I seem to be having is reducing my BFP--…
