  • Welcome! It's great that you came back to MFP. Don't beat yourself up about going back and forth. You're here now and we are all here to help cheer you on! Feel free to add me if you want!
  • Welcome! That's awesome! You've taken the first steps to your new life! It's not going to be easy, but it is so worth it in the end. I have about 23lbs left on my first journey (I started at 212 lbs, now down to 155 lbs). I say first, because once I lose the weight, another journey to keeping it off will start. MFP has…
  • Check out the receipts forum. I'm sure there are some easy receipts to follow that are very yummy and good for you.
  • It happens, but don't let it discourage you. Two steps forward, one step back. It happens to us all, but remember to think about the bigger picture and promise yourself you will do better today. I've had many weeks like that and wonder how it is posible to gain that much weight in such a small span of time. Then I wonder…
  • That's the spirit, my friend! Take it one day at a time and DO NOT let it get you down. Just pick yourself up and start new the next day. Going over your calories is not the end of the world. It's when you go over and then gain weight because of it that hurts and is discouraging. I've been there and I've beat myself up…

  • Everything in moderationl. If you want a piece of your pie, have one, but make it a small. Never deprive yourself of something you want to eat. Just be mindful of how much you are eating and you will have a great day. Don't stress about it, it's not worth it. You'll overeat if you do. Good luck! :flowerforyou:

  • Great job! Keep up the good work!
  • Those get slim quick fixes do not work and if they do start to work, once you go off of them you start to gain the weight back. I know, because I've tried everything and none of it worked. They best way to do it is to find fruits and veggies that you do like and change your eating habits and work-out at least a few times a…

  • I agree! This is sooooo good!
  • I will cry, laugh, scream and call everyone who didn't think I could do it! Then I might go shopping!!! I can't wait!
  • Great job! Keep up the good work! It's really a long and hard journey, but to feel happy when you look in the mirror, it's all worth it!
  • I started working out 7 days a week in the beginning. Once I hit my half way mark, I noticed my weight loss started slowing down a bit, so I cut it back to 6 days a week. About 2 months ago, I started using the Biggest Loser Challenge for the Wii and it suggested, after several weeks using it, that I cut back how many days…
  • Thank you! It feels good to know that all my hard work is really paying off!
  • Never give up! I was on a plateau for 3 months and couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting anywhere. I always watch what I eat and workout 5 to 7 times a week. It's going to be different for everyone, but try switching up your routine. Add weight training or switch up what you are eating. Sometime going up on your…
  • Thanks everyone! I have cold that started in my throat and chest. Thats why I was asking. I've been coughing and wasn't sure if I should take the chance and work out. I may just give myself another day to get over the cough. Thanks for the advice!
