  • I just turned 30 on the 21st. My hubby managed to get a friend of mine to come into town for lunch, then he took me out to a fancy dinner at the same place he proposed to me in 10 years ago. I ate whatever I wanted(although I was very good the rest of the week, and exercised), and I still managed to lose a pound that week.…
  • I have a BodyBugg, and it seems to do a very nice job of not only tracking my calories burned for the day, but also when I'm most physically active and for how long. It also keeps track of how many steps I'm taking in a day. Now, I only eat back the calories I burn during actual times of exercise, but it is nice to see how…
  • I'm on week 8, and I LOVE it!!! I still don't have all the moves down, but I'm still having fun doing it! There are quite a few people on here who love their Turbo Fire and will help answer any questions we can!
  • I know EXACTLY what you mean. I sometimes have to close my office door because I will literally try to stick my entire mouth into the pudding cup! Fortunately, the girl I go to break with always helps me out if I still have stuff on my face!!!
  • going to feel guilty that I went over my calories on my 30th birthday!

  • I do 6 days a week and my off day is Wednesday. I find that I feel much better about what I may overindulge in on the weekends if I'm working out those days!

  • I'm turning 30 this coming Saturday, the 21st! My mission is to be lean and mean before my 30th year is over. Less than a month after my 31st birthday, I'll celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary. We're planning on a cruise, and dang it, I want to wear a bikini!
  • I secretly love Miley Cyrus' song "Party in the USA", and chair dance to it in my office... I like using IT terms at work to make fun of people so they won't know it. I can still sing every word to "Ice, Ice Baby", and will do so anytime it comes on, no matter where I am. I'm still afraid of clowns. Ever since seeing "It"…

  • Okay, while I'm not short, I do have several friends and coworkers who are right around 5 feet. I tell them that they're not short, they're "fun sized"!
  • CW: 183 GW:130 Now I might be a big fat liar, as the lowest I've ever gotten is 143. I thought I still looked awful and flabby, but my family said I looked ill. Of course, that could have something to do with the fact that I lose a lot of weight in my face, and that's what most people look at first.
  • I want to know more about this Jalapeño yogurt dip. It sounds delicious and I love jalapeños!
  • I'm also on week 5, and it is by far my favorite workout! I did a round of P90X, and while it definitely works, I missed the music that Turbo Fire has. I know there are several people out there like me, who get there second wind when "Boom, I Got Your Boyfriend" comes on!

  • You know, it's the little victories for me. When it's 5:30 in the morning and I smile because I got my second wind right around the time "Boom, I Got Your Boyfriend" starts playing. When I put 10 % more in, just because I now can. And especially when I don't curse at Chalene when she tells me that I'm not tired, when I…
  • Seriously, I just posted on my hatred of Yoga yesterday! Believe me, you are not the only person who dislikes Yoga. I in fact, hate it with a live burning passion that consumes my soul! :grumble: I did a round of P90X, and I really only did the last 45 minutes of YogaX, and I pretty much half-assed it, at that. I think…
  • I love this! I was literally just beating myself up for having one Hershey Kiss here at work. For the love of all things bright and beautiful, it's just a freakin' Hershey Kiss, not a vat of lard! This thread helped to remind me of this. I've found that when I say diet, I mean FAIL... It's really got to be all about a…
  • I did a round of P90X, and YogaX made me want to kill myself! I almost always only did the last 45 minutes. I could at least deal with Tree, and Pigeon, but everything else just makes me feel like a pretzel!
  • I did Turbo Jam, wayyyyyy back in the day! I am currently on my 4th week of Turbo Fire, and I LOVE it!!! I've been wondering if people like Chalene Extreme as much as the Turbo workout?
  • Thanks all! I really do need to look at this as 10 or maybe even 5 pounds at a time. If I start thinking 50 pounds, I'll probably give up after my first slip up! I think I'm more angry at myself than anything else. I've done this over and over and over again. Every time, I swear that I'm never going to gain the weight…
  • I may have to try that. I'm into my 3rd week of Turbo Fire, and I swear I am going to finish this thing. It's good to know I'm not the only one who wants instant gratification weight loss!
  • I like to mash up a ripe banana and add a few chocolate chips to my oatmeal, but I do love me some peanut butter, so I may need to try that!
