greek yogurt with mixed frozen berries! Whole wheat crackers & laughing cow cheese. Lean cuisines are also good. ;)

I bought a heart rate monitor...the machines and MFP are usually WAY higher than what you are actually burning.

Also, I would say go to the store and try them out. I tried out every elliptical that I read about online (that had good reviews) and then picked the one I was most comfortable with.

That I can still eat dessert sometimes and that portion control is EVERYTHING! I never did well with thinking..oh I can't have that, it's not on my "diet." Now that I have made a lifestyle change I can have WHATEVER I want... I just have to have a serving of cookies...not the whole bag! :smile:

Greek yogurt fills me up and would add some additional calories to your diet. Add it as a snack or eat it at breakfast in a smoothie with berries/bananas (yum!). You could also add special K protein bars/shakes. I like the bars, they are actually pretty tasty. Hope this helps! :)

It asked me at the 10 lb mark only.. I have been adjusting it myself every 5-10 lb because it hasn't prompted me again.

I found that it was an over estimate of calories for me. I ended up buying a HRM to more accurately measure calories. :) That's just been my experience though.

not sure...my HRM calculates my calories for me...but I would love to know if there is another way to figure out the calories.

i would recommend the one with the chest strap. I love mine! I have a polar ft4 with chest strap. I have maximized my weight loss since I bought one. I was WAY over estimating how many calories I was burning by just letting MFP calculate my calories. Hope this helps! :)

I know you said the microwave is iffy but... I just bought some delicious mesquite grilled chicken breasts from Sam's club. They can be microwaved in 5 minutes (I think).
