  • Tuesday: Total Body Circuit. Wow. I'm getting better at pushing through the difficult moves. My punches and jumps were so much more coordinated, and I was actually able to do the spider with plank pushups unmodified. Then, I went beast mode for a brief period. That seemed to open up everything. What a rush!
  • OMG! Have you ever tried to date online even after losing a bunch of weight. It is brutal! Especially with the profile pictures. There's my motivation. To look better so the better looking guys are more easily accessible. Life's no fun without a long term relationship, and no one wants to meet a fatty! I'll be a former…
  • Just start with something hard but not too long like focus t25, and work your way up as you get better at exercising.
  • Oh, ya. I could put away two boxes of raspberry zingers in one day if I took as much as even one bite. Eat the same thing every day to avoid stimulating your appetite, and then only vary from that menu at the beginning if next week. Also, what helped me is watching my macros. If you know how many calories you want to eat,…
  • Focus t25 or insanity at home
  • I don't have the answer, but your problem is definitely situational, And you have to make a plan with that in mind. Sometimes you just have to figure out what is really important to you. I quit a food service job to get away from food, and have lost 25lbs since. Sometimes a reevaluation and a strong dose of truth helps.
  • Well, you have to face the awful truth that 206 pounds is still way to heavy. I started at 203, and am still too heavy at 179 two months later. You have to get control over your thinking. I hate it, but I know its going to take at least another four months to take off another forty, but there is no other choice. The reason…
  • Whoa, whoa, whoa! Slow down and reevaluate this. Now you "CAN'T" eat dinner? This much stress is from just one day off your normal routine? Motivation is an external factor and will change constantly. What will make you or break you is "discipline" which comes from within you. If you've been under control with your eating…
  • Exactly! I just lost 25lbs, and took a selfies. I was amazed at how effortless it was to look sexier. I haven't eaten out at any restaurants or had any fast food in three weeks. I've kept my calories in check, and that helped the most with doing T25. My goal is to lose what looks bad from the side.
  • Week three of T25 alpha phase almost finished. Down 16 pounds so far with disciplined eating and calorie deficit.
  • Holy cow! Tomorrow is Friday again, and we're almost into week four. I finally nailed a workout for the first time today when I was able to do a lot of the unmodified moves on Cardio.
  • Not sure you need to loose more weight. Maybe lose fat and gain muscle for you now. Be disciplined, and it will get tighter and harder.
  • Hang in there. There aren't a ton of posters in this group, but be assured we are right there with you. Week 3 day three and lost 15 pounds so far. Motivation is an external stimulus and is always changing, but discipline comes from within. If your diet is disciplined with the exercise, it will work.
  • He is right. It is about a lack of discipline. Work out one simple repetitive menu and stick with it all week. Stay out or restaurants and convenience stores. Avoid rotation and triggers. Discipline and focus will work.
  • There's an online calculator for diifernr activities at different weights and intensities. Just google it
  • "You feel bad about how you look.". This is what it boils down to. Self esteem. So, you need something powerful enough to snap you out of it. How about another chance at feeling good about yourself? I don't know how to trigger my brain when I'm in a slump, but I can tell you a story that might help. Basically, I've been…
  • Yay! We made it through another week!!
  • Week 2 day 4 done. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the decision to take on this program. The second week is almost over and I haven't missed any workouts, I haven't cheated on my meal plans and I'm feeling much better. This week I've added omelets into my diet. I've gone through five dozen eggs so far, and bought…
  • http://www.homeworkoutexpert.com. The link I posted above goes to a site with an online T25 calculator. You put in your weight, choose the t25 exercise, and choose level of intensity. It will give you an estimate of what you can burn.
  • I read it, and it was interesting.
  • Tuesday: Total body circuit. Another day on the books. A little T25, a little dog walking, and a bit of exploring the trails around the lake. I think I got too much sun on my face, but the sunny days are numbered so I'll take it.

  • I can make a smoothie for 300 calories MAX with chocolate whey, pbfit, banana, frozen blueberries, butternut squash, ground flax seed, cauliflower, zucchini, spinach or kale and other veggies I've experimented with because I use a water base instead of dairy. I save dairy for light cheese sticks. Many veggies can be hidden…
  • Day 1: cardio done. Still sweating even in my 60° room with the fan on high! We're supposed to have 60° weather and sunshine in Idaho into the middle of the month. Such great news for walking my little dog. I feel guilty exercising and not taking her to do anything sometimes, so she may have to learn to walk this winter.…
  • I arrived at it after eating at different macro combinations at a maintenance level last year. I felt best closest to this one so I just adapted it after a lot of reading. I was doing strength training at that time. I have PCOS and family history of diabetes, so it helps to keep the cravings to a minimum and it alleviates…
  • Yes, I know, but it is not meant to be sustainable. My problem isn't loosing weight with diet and exercise. My problem is maintenance. Last October I did Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred for sixty days, and that was preceded by 30 days of her standing abs workout. I lost 38 lbs, getting down to 168lbs, but gained it all back…
  • I agree about these workouts. I was doing Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred before this. Those workouts were only 20 minutes each, but these seem to go faster even with the cool down. I like them more because they are more intense than the Shred, and the fitness level you can reach is more defininitive. I am sleeping better…
