You need to be VERY careful when buying e-cigs...a lot of them are made in China and have VERY bad chemicals in them. You can check out the FDA's website (www.fda.gov) for more information. I use Premium E cigs as they are Quality Controlled and go through testing. They are more expensive, but I find that they work (when I…

I do not follow the zodiac signs, but I am an Aries (April 2nd) and it fits me perfectly. Actually its kind of scary. If you want to know more about me, just read up on Aries!

^^^This. You are smaller framed, chances are your calorie requirements are less than a person that is larger. Please see a nutritionist / dietician to help you decide what your calorie requirements are.

I totally understand. My best friend really is clueless as well. On occassion when we go to one of our favorite places, she orders the quisch because she thinks its healthy. Little does she realize the cream, cheese, crust, and bacon are actually really bad! Just because it comes with a side of fruit does not make it…

I appreciate it! I always thought it was the carbs that were helping with the side effects I never even considered the fat! It makes complete sense though! Is it possible to keep it low calorie? I am not seeing how I am going to be able to eat high protein and stay under 1440 calories a day.

I know this isn't actually in my kitchen, but my grill!!! I will throw anything on the grill during any kind of weather. Yes I have been caught grilling in the middle of a blizzard! Oh yeah, and my coffee maker!

Honestly, I wouldn't pay for it, but I would evaluate you during the hike and if I like you as a trainer then I would hire you.
-
I think the Hikers club would be awesome. I wish we had one of those in Colorado because I would so do that! The running one is good, but I actually think you would do better with a hiking club because you can then get more people involved and the problem with runners is everyone runs at different paces.

I like Hummus and vegetables, dried fruit (the kind that does not have all the added sugar), 100 calorie packs, almonds. Those are just some ideas.

I do not have any kids, but my parents never forced the clean your plate routine on us. It was more eat a decent amount of vegetables and then you can have dessert.

Protein is the only one that I am not upset if I didn't go over. I try to make sure I go over everyday.

As long as you get good quality fish and shrimp you should be fine. Civeche is very healthy, but I live in a land locked state I wouldn't dare try it with fish that has been shipped in.

Me too!!! I think it is because I am lacking iron during my TOM. I totally go with it and enjoy every bite of it!

My 30th birthday was when I decided to make a change! I wish I had started before my birthday, but I guess I needed that realization that I am not in my 20's anymore and that I needed to do something about it. Good Luck!

I always say its because of the altitude...we have to work harder to breath!

Go figure...I live in the state with the lowest obesity rate....I knew everyone looked extremely thin here in Colorado!

Hello from Longmont! Welcome and feel free to friend me if you would like.

Your body needs rest days to rebuild and repair the muscles. My biggest losses are actually the morning after a rest day because the swelling in my muscles has gone down. As a college athlete, we were required to take 1 full day off a week. That meant no running, no gym and no swimming. You can (if you would like) take a…

Team 2 - I forgot to write in the forum my calories burned for the first 3 days but they were 1508 so I made it! I will hit the 3500 this week as well!

Now I am wondering if my HRM would work on my dogs?! LOL I think it would drive my girl crazy and I would definitly have to shave my Akita for it to work!
-
LOL...unfortunately yes! I was walking up the stairs at work on my way to a meeting so my hands were completely full with my notepad, pen, and of course coffee and water. As I got near the top my pants fell down to my knees. Everybody got a good laugh and I still have not lived that down. I went out and bought new pants…

I am currently on 500 mg / day to give me a break from all of the issues associated with it. I will be moving back up to 1000 mg / day once I am ready. I am actually not super strict with it, and I stop taking it 3 days before a planned drinking weekend.

I don't know. I would say 90% of the time you are correct. You are however missing one key factor for quite a few people....medical issues. What a lot of people don't know that there are quite a few women that have PCOS (I know there are other issues as well, hypothyroidism and such, but I personally have PCOS and can…

It sounds interesting...its just hard to picture. I love the idea though!

LOL I live in Longmont, CO and I totally understand. Left hand brewery is like 2 miles from where I live. I also used to work at a bar in Georgia that had 224 beers on tap. I am a TOTAL beer snob. Since I started this (April 2011) I have drank very little beer because of the calories. I actually have a few cases in my…

YES! I think this happens to a lot of us...now I just looking at people at thinking...I can't wait to look like that!
