Yes!!! and for some reason it kept me from burning...I was out in Florida for 5 days with only SPF 6 and did not burn. I usually burn like crazy in the begining of summer. One of my other friends had it done as well and she didn't burn either. The spray tan only lasts a few days out on the beach because of the sand and…

You can do it...Just keep working hard. One little trick I use is a spray tan. I am not talking the kind from the store, go somewhere and get a professional spray tan with a person doing it. It is amazing what a tan can hide.

My Akita is HORRIBLE during the summer, he would much rather be on top of the AC vent then outside. However, he is great motivation during the horribly cold months. He does not like weather above 60 degrees but can handle anything down to -10! My German Shepherd mix is the best work out buddy as she never gets tired and…

Good Job! That is a great NSV!

I am going to use this as an opportunity to force myself to get my butt up early and workout. If I can just swim for 30 minutes in the morning and burn 250 calories before I work I should be okay. Good Luck!

I eat this all the time. The grilled chicken sandwich has 290 calories and the medium fruit cup has 70 calories. I usually get this with a unsweet tea (I LOVE sweet tea, but won't give in too often). It is actually very healthy and the sodium is not nearly as bad as you would think. Also, there is a Chick Fil-A on every…

bump...that sounds really good and easy!

I have never done a challenge before...this should be a good one for motivation! It might even get me up in the morning to work out before work as well as after! I am totally in!

Honestly, everyday. I have a horrible sweet tooth and I have to something everyday. It never makes me go over in calories and it is usually just a small serving (like 1 square of chocolate instead of a full serving), but its something.

I am just loving the fact that this thread doesn't die! It is always nice to know that I am not the only one going through this, even though I wish none of us were dealing with it! Good luck ladies!

I love exercising in the summer! My favorite thing is just being on or near water. I try to swim at least 3 times per week and I am thinking about buying a kayak for the lakes. Just taking the dogs to the lake to go swimming is a good workout as well. I also like to get out and go hiking, white water rafting, fishing…

This was me!!! I went to school to be an actuary (major in econ and minor in math, both with emphasis on statistical analysis) and then I decided I couldn't stand sitting still that long behind a computer. I am now a regulatory compliance auditor for a medical device company. I do not use my education for anything other…

Ice cream, frozen yogurt and frozen custard...I dont have it often, but when I want it, I want it!

I am so glad you asked this question, I was going to ask it too! My BMI says between 116 and 130 (5' 1"), however, at my healthiest (college soccer player, aerobics instructor and running approx 8 miles per day) i weighed 140. I set my goal weight to 130, but honestly I dont think I will get there. At 140 I was a size 4…

Honestly, it depends on you. I find that if I eat my exercise calories back everyday then I end up gaining weight. I eat some of them back some days.

bump...I feel the same way....kind of. I am 5'1" and I carry my weight pretty well. I was told by my guy friends its because I am intimidating. Good career, intelligent, outdoorsy (hunting, camping, shooting competitions, hiking), and I have opinions. The only guys that I get approached by are loud mouth type A…

I agree with this. The thing with PCOS is that the hormone levels can fluctuate. Mine got increasingly worse in just 1 years time and had to be put onto Metformin. I went from mild to pretty sever (still didn't gain weight and don't have the hair issue) During that year I was watching everything I ate and working out at…

I am so not surprised that Colorado got not 1, but 2 cities on the fittest list with none on the fattest list. This is the 7th state I have lived in (Ohio, New York, Wisconsin, Washington, Georgia, and Massachussetts) and this is BY FAR the fittest state I have ever lived in or seen! I have also traveled to almost every…

Bump...this is going to be an interesting read later.

I totally understand. I don't live alone persay, but pretty close. My sister works at Costco and has hypERthyroidism, so she fills my house with junk food, but then is either working at night or at her boyfriends house. My dogs keep me occupied when I get home from work so that I dont have time to eat until 7:30 or 8 at…

That looks good! I had home made Gazpacho with shrimp for added protein and some fruit.

I lost my first pound in week 2. The first week I actually gained 4 pounds.

I live in Longmont and work in Boulder. Welcome!

LOL!!! I have also mastered that technique...however, its much more difficult in show shoes and cross country skiis! I am gauranteed to fall off a treadmill. I don't know what it is, but I am running along at a nice pace and then BAM! I stepped off to the side, moved forward right into the front, and before I know it I…

bump...but I will try a really light mayo instead, I am not a fan of miracle whip.

Bump...I am always looking for new training techniques. My favorite are hill sprints. I find a nice big hill (I live in Colorado so they tend to be more like mountains!) and sprint up it and then jog down.
