Was just taling to my mom about this today. Thanks dad. I had to buy LARGE softball pants so they would fit my calves. I had to sinch the rope in the waist so far it hung past my knees! *Edit, I just measured and mine are nearly 17", I would hate to think what they were before I lost this weight. lol

Ditto the brownies, they are my fav! Almonds or peanut butter are always my go to when I am low. I wont lie, when I am low on calories and carbs but not on fat... Hot Tamales are my go to. lol Good luck!

I have asked myself this question time and time again!! I love Ribeye which is the fattiest steak there is but I cut off ALL the fat and assumed the fat content on the USDA is if you eat it... would love to see the responses, better yet, how to calculate your favorite steak WITHOUT the fat!

I keep changing mine. I am now only 5lbs away from the last goal I set of 160 (I am 5'9") but I am thinking I may try for 150. I just play it by ear and see how I feel!

I am constantly amazed at the little things that are better from taking care of myself. I know a lot of it is water too! Heal faster from sore muscles, haven't gotten one single summer cold (knock on wood) this year etc.... Living the high life. lol

But even using a HRM, how would you calculate how many of those would've been burned anyways? It kills me when people post that they got a new HRM, wore it ALL DAY and burned 2700 calories and enter it into their diary. lol

I don't agree with the calculations for walking/standing but it is true that an idling vehicle burns more gas than when it is driving down the road. lol

I haven't hit a "Walden Farms" zero calorie, zero carbs, zero sugars salad dressing I haven't liked yet.... Ranch, Creamy Bacon Ranch, Blue Cheese... yummy!!

To those with knee issues: be absolutely sure your form is dead on. I did the same thing the first time I tried 30DS and my foot was pointed slightly out for some of the moves and it killed me. Also, don't go as deep into the lunges for the first (at least) half of the level. Good luck!

It' smelled way better than it tasted. I used low sodium soy sauce, not sure if that was it or not but it wasn't good.

I have the EXACT same HRM as you and I constantly have problems with it not keeping my rate. I did switch the watch so the face was on the inside of my wrist and that helped some. I can also tell you, as strange as this sounds, the chest strap picks up my rate better when I wear my Adidas sports bra instead of the Nike…

I too just shook my head every time they asked if I needed to change anything and I was nearly 30lbs heavier when I started MFP. I am now 20 less than what it says and for my final weight goal/reward I am paying to get a new License even though this one is good until 2013. LOL

I love mine, got it for Christmas. I haven't used it a whole lot this summer but I do in the colder months. I just wish there was an easier way to calculate the actual calories and fat for what you cook in it. I know it is less but.... how much?
