Frankly, I feel you do have some responsibilty to try and do something about your weight. If not for yourself, than for your family. It's not healthy at all, and you're going to most likely have major health problems down the road, that will not effect only you, but everyone close to you. Not fun, and not fair, if it's…

Sakura con sounds like so much fun! I'll be big as a house then though, and will probably have a baby a week after, so I'll have to wait until 2014's.

I have heard that if you have lots of healthy fats in your diet (avacado, olives, nuts, etc), you should still stay "fuller" in that area. I'm not really a boob expert though, so I have no idea how true that is, lol.

Right now, I'm only weighing my self about once a month, when I go into the doctor's office, or to a friend's house. I tend to get a little obessive about weighing myself when I have a scale at home.

I think a huge part of our culture embraces instant gratification and the easy way out. It's easier to pop a diet pill (hoping to magically lose weight) and eat a big mac than it is to make a clean meal from scratch and sweat on the treadmill.

Some people are lazy. Just saying.
-
Okay, so I know 2 lbs a week sounds painfully slow, but take it from me, it goes by WAY faster than you think, and you will be thrilled with your progress.
-
A pro-fat movement doesn't sound healthy.

I didn't see it. Just noting that if she was crazy frugal it probably helped her accumulate money. It's good to be frugal, but eating out of the garbage seems a little extreme, lol.
-
Guess we know how she became a millionaire. :P

It seemed to be fine for me. I use it to sweeten my herbal tea and oatmeal.
-
Rice piled with stirfry veggies and a little meat.
-
By this I meant raw cookie dough sounded better than sweet hummis, lol. Though technically its not raw if using canned ingredients.
-
Um, don't you think you are being a little dramatic? If you don't like the sound of it, don't eat it! It's not lying, its just an alternative to the the real deal.
-
No, it HAS to be cookie dough. Whoever heard of hummus with chocolate chips? Bleh. Was going to walk to the store, but it's less than 20 degrees outside. Will have the husband pick up the ingredients on his way home from work. :)
-
If this even tastes REMOTELY like cookie dough, I'm all over it, lol. Thanks, I'll try to get around to making it tonight.

Just tried her egg in a mug recipe. It was yum, but sooooo not filling. I made some type of bacon breakfast bowl for my husband and he was still starving afterwards. So, the recipes are very tasty, but don't seem to be very filling by themselves.

Wow, you are beeeeaaauuuutiful!!! Hope I look that good after this baby comes!
-
Are you for fricking REAL?!?!?! Oh my gosh, you're my hero!
-
Looking great! :)

Whew! I feel a lot better after reading this. I'm about to have my 5th baby, so I'm feeling a lot more optimistic!

I'm a mom and we eat ramen all the time! We only use about a third of the packet per pack of noodles, and add eg g and veggies to it, sometimes chicken. Super yummy, and not that bad for you. We also drain the water and add the seasoning directly to the noodles, the flavor goes waaay farther that way.
-
HA! Just about spit my water all over the keyboard. Lol!
-
Probably less, but I would log it the same. And I would eat REAL bacon. That turkey stuff is just nasty, a mockery of the noble pork bacon. :P
-
Wow. We can agree on that! Mice are awful, but I can't even IMAGINE dealing with bedbugs! *shudders*

I've heard good things about the Slim & Sassy Doterra essential oil, but I haven't tried it personally. Going to play it MFP's way, and only turn to that if calorie counting and exercise alone don't seem to work. Plus, it's not really a diet pill, and it's all natural.

We had someone bring a mouse to our apartment in their luggage once. Ugh. Soooo awful.
-
OP, could you tell me what site you found your avatar pic on? I've been trying to find that comic for over a year. :)

[/quote] because putting it on is fun and tasty, taking it off is work and discipline. We all like fun, but not so much the work. So like Marry Poppins says... "In ev'ry job that must be done,There is an element of fun, you find the fun and snap! The job's a game" Make the watching of what you eat and the exercise as much…

I lost at least 46 lbs after my 4th baby. I was down to 136, while I was 180-ish when I delivered. It can be done. Course, I'm pregnant again, so I get to do it all over again, lol. It's okay, though.
