Ha! LOL...I never thought of fresh vegetables! Thanks for the suggestions...btw I LOVE Hummus. I forgot about the single serve size. My mom had some at her house a couple of months ago. I am going to look for them. Thanks everyone.

Hey Kerri! One of my most favorite snacks is frozen grapes! They taste great and because they are frozen take much longer to eat. I pop some in the freezer then eat them while I do my "mindless snacking" when I have to sit in front of the computer. Anyone else have any suggestions for her?

Hi- I resist the urge to weigh in daily. I know that it would set me up for a bad day if there were any gain-ESPECIALLY if I had a good day the day before. I look forward to stepping on the scale on Monday morning and it helps me "behave" on the weekends!

Hi- I actually started using this site on a whim. I never thought I would actually lose the extra 10-20 lbs. I've been carrying (for soooooo long) I've lost 15 lbs. and have gotten down to the size 8 that I dreamed about back in January. Good luck. This site totally works-so long as you use it!

I had mine set to lose 2 lbs. per week and lost 2 lbs each week. Now I am within 5-7 lbs of my "ideal" weight and dropped it to 1 lb. per week.

I like plain rice cakes with Frank's hot sauce on them. Add a tablespoon of light cream cheese and you have a fantastic snack for under 100 calories! Kellogg's Fiber bars are 120-140 calories and taste wonderful. No Sugar added fudgescicle's are 40 calories and (2) of them satisfy any chocolate cravings I may have. Good…

why not look up how many calories are in the cookie then go and do "step-ups" on a stair (or something similar) until you burn that amount of calories. Also-drink a bottle of water before and during your step-ups. :smile:

Totally not nothing!!! That is awesome! I bought a pair of (expensive) jeans on the clearance rack and could BARELY squeeze into them. I remember how I felt when I was finally able to get them on AND wear them in public! Great feeling. Congratulations!

I bet your mom already knows how how much you appreciate her! Write her a letter telling her how much she means to you, take her to lunch-just the two of you-give her the letter and ask her to wait until after you've left for school before she opens it. This will give her something she can read and hold when she misses…
