Good job OP, I lost track after three years without smoking, but I still often think about how much happier I am. The way I quit was by doing nothing at all, just forcing myself (I tried all the methods you can imagine, finally hit success by doing nothing at all but just bearing the cravings through force of will).

That above. I tried and I tried man, I ran well over 2,000 miles trying to make myself like it. Now I swim and bicycle, much happier.
