  • Side note.... I hope we can still be friends, but GO SEAHAWKS! B)
  • I've done this before and MFP is always a major part of my journey. The last time I was using this site I lost 45 pounds. Yeah me! But then life happened and I let stress and depression win the battle. I put 30 of those pounds back on and I am NOT happy and just don't feel good. I'm back at it and more determined than…

  • I am on MFP daily and love adding new, dedicated friends to my list of MFPeeps! I've been on 150 days so far and am a smidge away from reaching the halfway point to my goal (45 down, 45 to go). I'll be here to cheer you on in your victories and give you a kick in the *** if you need one. All I ask is that you do the same.…
  • I am always looking for more committed friends - committed to MFP, not the insane ward please. (LOL) Seriously though, I am on here every day and love to cheer people on. Feel free to send me an invite!
  • I weigh daily and was really struggling with it through a one-month plateau. I said I was going to not weigh, but that didn't happen. I am afraid that if I don't keep an eye on it, the weight will come back on regardless of what I am doing. Good luck... and hang in there.
  • I just hit wonderland a few weeks ago.... it's an amazing feeling. Keep pushing - It's SO worth it.
  • Hello! I've been on MFP since May and have lost just over 40 pounds--and, I have at least 50 to go. I'm always looking for more friends that are committed to a healthier life. I am on MFP every day (unless I am traveling for work). In fact, I could be considered an MFP junky. LOL Feel free to send me a request if you are…
  • I recently bought a digital scale at Target for only $25... and I love it!
  • Just joined the group.... and I am so excited! My goal for September is 100 miles and to lose 8 pounds. My birthday is at the end of the month. If I can meet BOTH goals, I will be able to say I walked 100 miles AND walked my way into ONE-DERLAND! Let's do this...... :glasses:
  • I weigh twice a week.... Monday and Thursday. It helps keep me accountable on the weekends.
  • I don't know if this is the one you used, but it looks like what you are searching for! http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ :glasses:
  • I sent the request.... I love your profile picture!!!!
  • Yay! I look forward to getting to know you and cheering you on.
  • AMAZING.... you look amazing. Celebrate your victory, girl. You've earned it! :flowerforyou:
  • You are all the best -- thanks for the tips! I will definitely read that article and invest in a good pair of shoes.
  • My only suggestion is that your NET be no less than 1000-1200 calories. If it's below that, your body can go into starvation mode. Being a big girl, I thought that was crazy until it happened to me. Just eat back "some" of the calories if you need to get to that net. And, good for you for starting this journey. You'll love…
  • You will LOVE MFP and the support you'll find here. I am a newly discovered gym addict and the tips and hints here have helped me soo much. Good luck... I am sure you will rock this!
  • It's not cheap... but the Under Armor sports bra is amazing! It's the only one I found that is comfortable and provides enough support for Zumba and jogging. (And for the record, there is not "just a little" to support!)
  • That is awesome... I didn't know they did that. When we signed up, the person helping was from another gym and we keep learning new things about the facility as we go. I will definitely take advantage of it. Thanks for the tip!
  • I am starting the app this week. I wanted to start it a few weeks ago but found D1W1 was too much for me. I think saying it starts from the couch may apply for some people... but NOT ME! LOL I think I've build up enough to try to start again. I want to do this so badly! I've a friend that has lost 150 pounds and this was…

  • Hi! I am on MFP daily and am always looking for people to add to my MFPeeps. I only ask that they are serious about getting healthy, too. This is my second time on MFP (I left the first time for unrelated medical reasons) and both times the amount of support and help amazed me. I lost 35 lbs the first time and and am…

  • I am not from Vancouver but I used to visit there frequently--I was raised in WA state and only moved to IL when I got married. I miss the whole PNW area VERY much!

  • I was losing weight for the first few weeks and then it just stopped. People, several people, looked at my diary and said I wasn't eating enough. Once I started making sure I got enough calories, the weight started dropping again. Make sure you net at least 1200-1400 calories!
