  • After i left for boot camp my family moved into another house. My sister always told me about a young boy in the house she would see all the time and would mess with her while she was asleep. Only her though, noone else. One morning my mom woke up real early like 5am before anyone was up and she ate some yogurt and went…
  • I hate the word invaluable. It doesn't make any sense to me. When most words have the prefix in- than it's usually opposite of the base word, but not this word, no it's special for some reason. So invalid, inaccurate, independent, indescent, indescribable. Why does invaluable not fit this rule?? It bugs me... serioulsy.
  • I wish there was a like button on here because you all have great ideas and wonderful ways of celebrating such a huge accomplishment. I haven't really thought about what I will do at that point. Maybe go on an amazing trip with the hubs- somewhere that bikinis are essential.
  • Awesome accomplishment!! Keep it up!!
  • thank you for sharing your beautiful story with us! Congrats on your weight loss and your upcoming wedding!!
  • Thanks for the reminder. I know i do this often and need to stop. That lady was out of line. It is not her job to even give her opinion on your chldren and how they look. You're right that kind of talk can cause alot of issues especially for young girls. Good for you- hopefully she will keep her opinions to herself in the…
  • Wow your story brought tears to my eyes. i'm so very sorry for your loss. You look amazing and your mother I'm sure would be so proud of you and the decision you have made for yourself. Congrats on sticking with it!!!
  • Yup. Just signed up for our turkey trot yesterday. Ours is not on Thanksgiving day though but on 17Nov. I'm in N Japan so it may be snowing by then. It's my second 5K in a month so i'm excited and hope I can do well even if it's freezing!
  • You look absolutely stunning! Congrats on your beautiful day and your accomplishments thus far! Keep it going and you'll be to your ultimate goal before long!
  • Amazing accomplishments thus far!!! Keep it up!! You can certainly tell a difference!! Congrats!!!
  • Another shorty here at 5 nothing. SW 153 CW 149 GW 120 I just started back on this journey after recently moving to Japan (military). I have been this weight since after I lost 35 lbs after having my son who is now almost 3. So i'm prepregnancy weight but i want to be closer to what I was when i first came in the military…
  • Even if you burned half of that, I still believe you are eating too little. You have gotten alot of great advice above so I hope you are able to stick with it and keep going. You are strong enough to do this. It all starts with the first step.
  • I think it is wonderful the changes you have made thus far! I'm not sure of your stats and how much you have to lose, but just at first glance I would say you are not eating enough. You ate 1500 calories yesterday, but burned over 600 in exercise which means you netted less than 1000 calories. IMO this is not enough…
  • cottage cheese, avocados, olives (black or green), most cheese other than mozerella or American- which means I hate lasagna, tofu, lima beans, collard greens, cranberry sauce or sweet potato pie- I like sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie, but not sweet potato pie.
  • every Sunday night I boil a dozen eggs for the week and every morning I grab 2 hard boiled eggs and Oikos organic green yougurt 4oz. That's 220 calories and and about 23g of protein. Then have a cup of grapes or some other type of fruit for a mid morning snack. I like your sandwich idea though- might have to start that one.
  • wow that is amazing!! Good luck and keep it going!
  • You look absolutely fantastic!! Congrats on your amazing accomplishment!
  • Awesome for you!!! Glad you didn't get eaten by a walker. Winning all around!!!
  • You look fantastic! Congrats to you! You are an inspiration to us other shorties out there ( I'm 5 ft as well).
  • You are getting progressively better and even in you didn't come in first you're coming in first in your own race and that's awesome. I ran my first 5K this last weekend and my only goal for myself was to run in the entire thing without stopping and I did that. So i don't compare myself to others, but know that I…
  • Congrats to you and your family!! You both look great!!!
  • You look amazing! i actually said Wow out loud at my work desk. Is that a OKC Thunder dress you're wearing? I used to live there, but the AF moved us on to Japan.
  • wow those are amazing results of your hard work!! Congrats! and in the first pic you don't even look like you needed to mose any weight, but now you look stronger and you can certainly see some nice definition in your abs!! Awesome!! So did you just do insanity for exercise and what was your eating like?
  • We all freak out sometimes. I'm just starting ths so i'm not a professional but have read alot on these boards and have taken some advice and thrown some advice out. You have to figure out what works best for you. If the weighing in every day brings you anxiety than don't do it. This is supposed to be a life long journey…
  • You didn't gain 3 lbs in one day. Weight flucuates so much even by the hour sometimes, so step away from the scale and weigh yourself once a week to see a change. You can't change your caloric intake one day and expect to see a change that night. Stick with it and if you don't see a change in a few weeks than reevaluate.…
  • I was running outside 3x a week and i take a crossfit class in the afternoons, but since its starting to get really cold and the snow should hit soon (i'm in Northern Japan) than I plan to do jillian michaels videos in the am to supplement the running outside. I'm used to waking up at that time now and I certainly don't…

  • Congrats on your accomplishment so far!! For me a cruise is a very special occassion so I say enjoy yourself, but try not to OVER indulge. Indulging is ok. It's when youhave 2 molten cakes each night that you may have an issue. Walk alot, but really overall I say enjoy yourself. I know I couldn't go on a cruise and be…
  • I work full time and have 2 kids. It's hard and a pain sometimes but I set the alarm way before they get up in the mornings and do my exercising then. Whether its a video in the living room or a run outside (while daddy is home with them of course). If you want it bad enough you gotta make the time for you. And you start…
