I so feel that! I have been in the 240s for the last 5 years and I have JUST gotten under. It feels good man! Makes me believe I can do this :)

Today has been a weird day. First, I've been starving throughout (something I don't experience very much). I've been snacking, but trying not to go too crazy. Then, I did a workout using 5 lb weights. And, while I could do more than I have been in the past, I still couldn't get through the whole thing without putting them…

That's absolutely a huge thing! I was very active on here about 6 years ago and it all went to pieces when my husband went to the hospital for a week for very unexpected reasons. We were out of town at the time, so I was already eating out everyday, and I just quit everything. Ate whatever junk food was nearby and cried…

My mini goal is to get back to the weight I lost last time I was active on here (still 25 lbs away). But, I've lost 7 lbs so far and I know I got it this time. :)

It really is! I didn't think I'd really do it, I mean who works out at 2 am? I had worries about never getting to sleep and/or having to shower (which I probably should have). But, it was an amazing feeling and then, I weighed 1.2 pounds less this morning. That helped, too (but that's not an NSV, so I didn't include it). :D

Open diary here, as well. Feel free to add me :)

Yesterday, I had a terrible night's sleep the night before. Woke up grumpy, eventually took a 2.5 hour nap in the afternoon. I kept trying to drum up the willpower to work out, but it was a no go....UNTIL 2 am. I was still wide awake and feeling pretty good. I decided it was the perfect time to get it done, and so it…

I've been doing her youtube videos everyday and she's really great! Most of her videos are 20-25 min. I feel a little guilty not doing more, but she's quite adamant that this is really all you need to get fit and toned. And I do work up a pretty good sweat everytime. It's ok that I don't do more?

Last night, I had some dessert after dinner and then brought in my normal pre-bedtime snack of some fruit gummies. I realized that, as I was about to open them, I wasn't hungry at all. I was going to eat them because it's what I do before bed - like a ritual. I knew I had the calories, I always make sure I can account for…

I stopped and started a fair amount over the last few years. I had lost 25 pounds 6 years ago, but I put all of that back on plus 10. So, I invested in those "lose 10 pounds in 10 days" pills. Yup, I was one of THOSE suckers. I started taking them and, of course, nothing was happening. Then I decided I would continue, but…

Yeah. Right now, I'm still working from home, so I don't have set schedules. Starting in August, I'll be traveling again and need to figure out how to deal with that. I really should try to do it first thing, otherwise the guilt gnaws away at me throughout the day until I do it. But, we just got kittens and they are SUPER…

That's fantastic!! Congratulations and you ABSOLUTELY are a success story! Losing 70 pounds is amazing! I haven't been under 200 since my wedding 15 years ago. You better believe when I see 199.9, I'm going to be celebrating just as much as you are! Congratulations and keep it up!

Before I moved to WA (5 years ago), I used to go on 2-4 miles walk with my dog. That cut back due to weather in WA. My job keeps me standing most days (but I haven't worked face to face since shutdown, which means I've sat around and worked). My life over the past year has been nothing but sitting. Prior to that, when I…

Thanks! Will do!

Thanks everyone! Great comments! And I don't feel as badly about having problems completing videos. I'll stick with it, try to find good ones that I enjoy and with summer coming, I expect to spend a lot of time outside walking. Living in Washington means gorgeous summers! I need to get out and appreciate them more. :)

Thank you so much! This is exactly the kind of post I needed. Mentally, I know that I'm doing the right things. I'm staying under calorie and I'm moving. I just feel guilty if I move slowly. I feel like it won't achieve much. But, I'm trying to improve, slowly but surely. Your story is really inspiring! I'll just keep on…

I'm 44 and always looking for new friends! Just came back after a 6-ish year hiatus. Weight is high, but it's slowly coming down. Only another 100 pounds to go :)

After a tough workout this morning, I decided to walk to Starbucks (2.5 miles roundtrip). I now have amazingly big blisters on my feet, but I did it without passing out. The last 1/4 mile was more like a hobble, but that's ok :)
