hunger signals are very important.. our bodies are smart its important to include snacks between meals so you dont get to hungry... it works the same as thirst .. by the time you are thirsty you are already dehydrated its important to fuel your body through the day the same as consistantly drinking water.

calories dont mean to much.. if you have the option of getting 100 calories of sugar or 200 calories of protein and fibre go with the 200 calorie option! :)

fibre will give you a more increased feeling of satiety!! but a combination would be best! I would recommend something within the 3-5 g fibre range ad making sure the sugar is low!! around 5g
