Up your calories... trust me. My trainer has me on a strict low carb 1200 calorie a day diet.. I plateued for a month. Last week I upped my calories to 1500 and upped my carbs some.. and I lost 3 pounds this week.

Take 1/4 cup cottage cheese, 1 tbsp skim milk and place in food processor to make into a creamy sauce. Sorry.. Another favorite... Take a chicken breast, roll it in egg whites and garlic, place a slice of ham and a slice of swiss cheese on top.. Then pour 1/4 cup cream of chicken over the top and bake.. A low cal chicken cordon bleu. Served with a side of steamed asparagus.

Gutting a green pepper, packing it full of black beans and chicken, throw it in the oven and about 5 minutes before its done, put a slice of swiss cheese on top... Yummy, full of protein, and very filling.

I love slicing up some chicken, shrimp, green peppers, and red peppers... Sliding them on a cabob stick- Rubbing them down with Franks hot sauce and garlic, and throwing them on the grill.... SOOO good.

For my abs! I do abs 3X a week for only about 10 minutes and thats it. Its all about using weight and resistance. I have taken mesaurments and see a differencde.. I just want that dang darn scale to do down :sad: I hate being in the 140's.. Cant wait for the day that i hit the 130's :happy:

I have never ever been a morning person.. But after a week or 2 of waking up at 5 and doing a good workingout at the gym, my body is completely used to it now.. I love my morning workouts and sets my mood for the day.

I honestly love the gym.. I go twice a day (once in the morning to do cardio then I go at night to do strength training)... I have a great relationship with the employees and other members of the gym so I am super comfortable there. I agree with other posters of finding something you enjoy.. I hate yoga, zumba, pilaties,…

Watch the carbs!!! As soon as I started low carbs my stomach is alot flatter.. also when doing core workouts u really need to add resistance to get good results.

I am also on TOM right now. Its the second one since starting my new lifestyle.. my cycles used to be 32 to 38 days apart and this one was 3 freakin weeks apart... WTH.. I am also having longer symptoms. Been bloated for over a week.. lovely

How many carbs are you eating currently? Also are you eating simple or complex carbs? Feel free to look at my diary... I don't eat alot of carbs.

My diet is 50% protein with low carbs so it gets tricky.. I eat eggs, protein shakes, and alot of chicken, fish, edamame, etc. Feel free to look at my diary.

I try and eat a light meal right before going, that way if they don't have the healthiest foods, I have more will power to have really small portions.

My budget is $400 we feed 2 adults and 1 child... I coupon when there's things I buy but I for the most part only buy meat, produce, and dairy products. I live in utah and I think my budget is pretty good. I buy bulk in things like rice, oatmeal, spices, and meats.

Use the squat machine at the gym.. Once you get the hang of it, its fantastic.
