I hated weight training really bad also cuz I had NO IDEA what I was doing. I got a personal trainer that I meet with 3X a week and I LOVE LOVE LOVE him and weight lifting now. If you can afford it, do it. You wont regret it.

Watch your carb and sodium intake... I am on a diet of 50% protein 30% carbs and 20% fats.. Its working wonders for me on loosing my stomach fat. I do alot of cardio and alot of weight training as well.

Im working with a nurtitionalist and personal trainer and they DO NOT want me to eat back my excersise calories. That want me at between 1100-1200 calories a day no matter how much i work out. My trainer and nutritionist have me on 50% protein 30% carb and 20% fat.. Do whatever works for your body and as long as your seeing results then thats all that matters.

Decrease sodium and carbs, increase water and protein

Before you can tone up and see muscle definition you need to loose the "fat" layering.. really concentrate on eating good stuff and get in good excersises. But dont feel bad if you dont see muscle definition right away.

I love EAS Vanilla from Sams Club.. It has 23g of protein and like 120 calories.. It is only $33 for the one up here and has 76 servings. My personal trainer recommended, thats what he drinks and I love it also.

What works for me???? Your diet. You can workout 3 hours a day, but if you have a crappy diet your not gonna really get anywhere. You need to be eating excersice calories back. Your body is probably going into starvation mode and holding onto calories. You are under calorie intake after excersise about 700 the last few days. Not good. I bet if you ate another 500 calories the pounds will start dropping...

I just purchased (36) 1 hour sessions for $49 a session. Which is totally worth it since he has a degree is nutrition and excersise science so not only is he training me, but he is also handling my nutrition... I will be going 3x a week for 12 weeks. After that I am hoping to only do 1 session every few weeks to help…

People carry weight different. When i weighted 186 people didnt believe me and pegged me for about 160. I distribute my weight mostly evenly through my body, plus im 5'7.5

Also- If you go to Chilli's their Margharita Chicken plate is AWESOME.. IT has about 550 calories and i couldnt eat the whole plate.. It was amazing.

Make your diary public and some peope can give you pointers and tips on how to help your diet.... You can work out and work out and not see any progress if your diets not good.

Good luck.. Like people said, make sure and net 1200 calories.. I have my first personal training lesson tonight and I am soooo stoked. I also am having a 1/2 hour nutrion consultation before that to help set up protein/carb/fat % for my diet....
