Just a regular taxi company? Not one that is part of the daycare? My daycare does transport kids to two area schools but my daughter's school is not one of those. I would think that parents would be more comfortable with a company that specializes in transporting kids. The driver (me) would have CPR and First Aid…

Do you push mow lawns? I ask because I had my fitbit on when I was cutting the grass with a riding lawn mower and all that bouncing around caused it to register about 10,000 false steps.

I was at a home in Ohio. I woke my boyfriend up to tell him that something was going on. Then the second plane hit.

You'll still lose if you eat at a deficit. You might want to look into making your own though to cut down on some of the sugar. You could do overnight oats.

White bread has all the fiber removed and that makes it a simple carbohydrate. Simple carbohydrates are immediately turned into sugar by your body. Whole wheat bread takes longer to digest and keeps you fuller longer.

Make a seven layer salad or a veggie/fruit tray. That way it looks like you are contributing and you'll have something to eat. Who cares if anyone else eats it or not? At least they have the option. To answer your question, I don't think it is rude but I think my suggestion above would give you less hassle.

You should go see a doctor. It could be other things like anemia. I lost my period when I got anemia a while back. It was only for a few months but once I was put on an iron supplement, it came back. No harm done in my case though.

+1 I specifically remember the instance that threw me off track once when I had lost 20 pounds. I allowed myself to over indulge in Cheese Its and I didn't get back on track after that until I had gained 30 pounds more 2 years later.

Well that's really helpful... Many of us do have a negative body image and that is part of our problem. She is trying to find ways to fix that.

It's okay to walk a bit if you have to. Plenty of people do it, believe me. Just do your best and don't stress yourself out. The running community is very supportive and that makes it so much easier.

I get where your're coming from. It really helps if you're both on the same track.

You are so cute. Congratulations!

Oh I see. I actually clicked the link. What a moron. Do you like coffee? I like coffee.

I'm so confused. Why is the interviewer asking if he's ever ran before. And he calls it a marathon instead of a half. Is he completely clueless?
-
No, just no, to that link.
-
Ahh haha. That's very awkward looking. I'm sure those will be flying off the shelves.
-
I'm not really sure what that means. (I'm blonde so I say that a lot).
-
Wait a minute...I just realized she said she ran that on an elliptical (I automatically read treadmill). That's not the same at all.
-
Fine...
-
Sure. And in my defense, I did say "in your age group"
-
can we say cutting out white sugar?
-
Around here it isn't. I placed 4th in my age group with the 28 minutes I ran.
-
A 20 minute 5K is amazing. I'm pretty sure you would place in the top 3 of your age group in most local races. My PB is 28 minutes.

I agree completely regarding the horrible treatment of animals. It's shocking what most of the animal factories can get away with. That being said, I love meat and I believe that meat is meant for human consumption. That is why I look for local farms (they are out there) where I can buy my meats, milk and eggs. I can see…

There are lots of documentaries on Netflix regarding this issue. "Food, Inc," "Forks Over Knives," "Food Matters." Take each with a grain of salt though and realize that they are also leaving important facts out. Personally, I have been focusing on eating clean. That means I cut out white flour, white sugar, and processed…

I love your attitude! Best of luck to you in your journey.

Hubby won't come near me during my time of the month.
