Thank you so much for replying!!! You all have some excellent ideas and information which I need as a beginner. I am joining the gym with my cousin so we will be going together 3-4 times a week at first and then once we get confident in our routine/going to the gym again we can hopefully add another day when we both can go…

I’m on day 2 of the rest week at the minute (day 3 tomorrow). Its great for the arms!! Sometimes I just don’t have the energy to get up and do it everyday….have you been doing it everyday non-stop? Also have you been eating the meal plan that comes with it? I started out with 1700 on my first week and that was fine but…

add me, I started in June 2012 and lost 11 lbs so far...only 11 lbs more to go :) its all about inches and pictures for me though!

Hi guys just to update you again. My eating has been okay but I've been slacking on my workouts so today I've made a decision, to quit working out until 21January 2013. That is when I will start insanity and my exams wil be over so I won't have anymore revision which is currently taking up a lot of my time. I still walk 40…

Hey thanks for replying. I’m 5ft 6” so maybe I should aim for 130 lbs instead as a more realistic goal? Size 4 in US is 8 in UK, I am currently a UK 12 wanting to get down to UK 10…I’m quite broad on top so that might stay as a 10/12. Vanity sizing???
-
Hey just wanted to say congratulations!!! That is awesome! My start weight and goal weight are the same as yours. Do you mind me asking your height? And also what dress size are you UK or US? I still have 13 lbs to lose until I reach my goal but I am not letting that worry me now as I can see my body changing all the time.…

hi all, I know its not December yet but I just wanted to update you on my journey. Basically I took a diet break week from 22 October to 28 October eating at full TDEE. Since then however, I have not been very consistent – some days eating at CUT, some days over and some days not counting at all!!!! I decided not to weigh…

***UPDATE – 20 OCTOBER 2012*** Weight = 138.8 lbs (-5.8 lbs) Leg = 22 inches (-0.5 inches) Waist = 29.5 inches (-0.5 inch) Hips = 34 inches (-0.5 inches) Chest = 32 inches (-1.5 inches) Arm = 13 inches (-0 inch) So this month I have lost a total of 5.8 lbs and 3 inches!! I am so proud!!! I just ran 2 miles in 36 minutes…

I try and eat 80% clean every day. I eat “junk” food about twice a week…that’s a meal, dessert and drinks (i.e. pizza, chocolate cake and wine). I try to limit it to once a week on a Saturday with maybe just a chocolate bar in the week. Other than that my diet is pretty clean as I stay away from caffeine, refined sugars,…

The Scale is the Devil to me...I truly believe that we should all go off pictures and measurements rather than the scale. It shows us the true progress :D Well done!!!

That is amazing work!! Keep it up!

Hi, I am a recovering ED. I started my recovery in April 2010 so will be 3 years in April 2013 since I stopped restrict/binge/purge cycles. If you read my story on the EM2WL website you will find out more about me (http://eatmore2weighless.com/kelseys-journey-focusing-on-photos-not-the-scale/ &…

***UPDATE – 22 SEPTEMBER 2012*** Weight = 144.6 lbs (+2 lbs) Leg = 22.5 inches (-0.5 inches) Waist = 30 inches (-1 inch) Hips = 34.5 inches (-1.5 inches) Chest = 33.5 inches (-1.5 inches) Arm = 13 inches (+1 inch) So I have now been doing EM2WL for 4 months and one day I hope to never count calories or worry about the…

What do you get the majority of your calories from? You need to make sure you get your protein macro as close as possible and drink lots of water every day.
-
Avocados, goats cheese, eggs, greek yoghurt are all good sources of protein. Make sure you get protein in at EVERY meal otherwise I find I never make my protein macro. Fruit is very high in sugar and if I were you I would stick to berries as they are the lowest in sugar. However, as long as you are keeping as close to your…

I hope to be like you one day…never counting calories or worrying about the scale. I am slowly getting there but this journey is for the long haul so I’m going to be patient and as long as I see some results in any form I know this is the right path for me. Just joining EM2WL for the past 4 months has made me realise how…

Thanks ladies. Im going to start wearing my HRM again so I make sure I don’t net under my BMR and also try and eat something around 7am before I leave for work x
-
Wow, how much gratitude you are showing is amazing!!! I love it! I think every word of what you put in your post is correct and spot on. The scale shouldn’t define how we feel about ourselves or who we are as people. We are amazing fat or thin….but we want to be amazing for as long as possible so its time to get fit,…

Hi, I new about the eating at TDEE week every 4-6 weeks but not the REST week. Is that a rest from just the working out but still eating at CUT?
-
Hey people, So I have just got back from holiday and my CUT stats are as follows:- SW: 144.4 lbs Week 1: 142.2 (-2.2) Week 2: 143 (+0.8) Week 3: Holiday Week 4: 149.4 (+6.4) Obviously from looking at the above my first week of CUT was the best but due to a holiday I have managed to gain back all my weight since starting…

I'm in week 7 of my reset, going to start cut July 30th (after 8 full wks of reset) and it's SO nice to hear that people are having success....I can't wait and hope and pray that I can report the same thing in a few weeks!! =)
Hi, I am too starting my CUT on 30 July after being on…

I love this thread, knowing we can support each other on our journeys is great! I just want to say that we all need to have faith in this process for it to work, please don’t doubt it! Kiki and Lucia are living proof that it works. I think the greatest risk in life is NOT taking one! Just trust in the process and believe…
This is actually my highest weight:/ I'm in recovery from purging type anorexia and I reached this weight in hospital, but I just feel it's unacceptable. I look ten times bigger, would that change if I started strength training or could you only 'look smaller' through losing the weight?
Hi Hunni, The…

Hi Guys, I am on day 2 of my reset! So very scared but looking forward to repeaing the rewards and looking extremely LEAN for Christmas 2012 :-) I can't weigh myself throughout this process because I know I will cry. I used to have ED so my whole life I have battled with overeating and undereating. NOW is the time to…

Thanks everyone. I have decided to do the reset but at sedentary activity for now which I will be consistent with for the next 2 weeks. Then I will do a "stock take" and see how things are progressing. As I will be starting doing workouts with my mum after those two weeks I will bump my reset up to moderate activity which…
