  • I'm 5'0 and currently I am hoping to get to 115-118. I've got a ways to go,(about 20 lbs) but I am hopeful that I can get there by the end of October. I always seem to get stuck at about 125 or so... I think thats just my body getting stubborn though...
  • I liked watching "Hoosiers," "Sea Biscuit," and "american Flyers," They always got me going :)
  • I tend to do the same things that others have posted. I will put the machine into aerobic mode, fat burn mode, pick out some tunes on my Itouch, watch a movie on my itouch, and always avoid looking at the time by keeping my eyes somewhere else or covering the console. Thats it in a nutshell :D
  • Welcome to the site! I've been here going on over 15 days. Really like it. Feel free to add me to your friend list :)
  • When I did weight watchers, I did have a cheat day with moderate sucess, but had since gained weight back after stopping WW. I've been on here now for over ten days and have not had a cheat day until today. I am hoping that a cheat day once in awhile will help me detour the cravings I get. However, I am not eating totally…
  • Have you consulted a sports physical therapist or Sports Med Doc? They might be able to shed some light on how to strengthen your knee. That, and they may be a little bit more sympathatic to your plight since you are trying to exercise and be more active.
  • HI! Like you, I used to be sporty as well. (former runner) Work and Planter Fasch. issues have plauged me so that I am not the "sporty" person I used to be. (12 hour work shifts as a case manager do damage to a permanent running schedule...). Hang in there! You'll get your "sporty" back. Its just a matter of being safe…
  • I've done WW as well. I think both WW and MFP both do a good job of tracking your calories, nutrients, etc. I have to say I think I like this one better. But I think that is because I'm aware of what I'm eating without tracking the points along with WW. I just look at this as WW without figuring out points :)
  • welcome! I just started the program this week as well. Good luck with your plan :). Please feel free to add me to your friend list as well. I'm a case manager that has worked as teacher's assistant in the past. How exciting for you to be finishing up your schooling to move into a classroom! Teaching is one of the coolest…
  • I've been reading the other posts. I would agree hard boiled eggs for a protein bost would be a quick easy start to the morning. I tend to boil about 6 at the start of the week and take them my mid morning break when at work. They seem to be really filling too.
  • Thanks for starting this :) I think my goal weight for August is probably high reaching since I tend to lose weight really slowly. Hoping to start 30 day shred today. I have a weird work schedule that sometimes makes working out hard (12 hour shifts means after being on your feet all day means being exhausted when you get…
  • welcome :). I'm new too and am hoping that the site helps me stick to making better choices. :) Good luck with your plan :)
