Something that helps me is knowing exactly what a serving size is for the that food. Once I know that I can calculate how much I can eat and then put the rest out of sight (out of sight, out of mind). When I put the food away (fridge for the next day), I also try to separate it into the serving sizes as well so I'm less…

Looking online for nutritional value is great advice! But make sure you decide BEFORE you go and stick with it! It's really difficult to look up other foods after you're there... I would know! haha

I have read several articles that say about 3 hours before you go to sleep that way your body is active enough and metabolism is up enough to digest.

I don't think there is a "best" time of day, as long as you stay consistent. So if you start weighing in the morning, keep weighing in the morning. I know starting out, finding foods is always the hardest thing to do!! And salads get real old real quick haha! But I've grown to love chicken in every way.
