re: #8: don't discount something like shin splints, especially if you are overweight and you feel pain in your heel. It may be a stress fracture. If you ignore it, you will not be running - and you will be walking in pain - for a very, very long time.

I feel the calorie count burned is also waaaay high. I walked for 90 minutes on a hike. It reported more than 1200 calories burned. There is NO way this is true - it was probably a little more than 1/2 that amount. So I have to waay under-report the amount of time I do an exercise. It would be great if the ppl in charge…
