There was another post asking if anyone had ever had a bird poop on them LOL
-
No, I have never had to endure such a thing

Lol Glad I could be of assistance!!

Are all of you writing kitten instead of the swear word or is that how myfitnesspal chooses to censor their forum? either way, it's hilarious :)

I agree with all above, set your weight goal to 0.5 to 1 lb per week. 2 lbs a week sounds enticing I know, but trust me when I say it only damages your metabolism in the long run and makes it harder to lose weight if you hit a plateau (i.e. if you are eating at the bare minimum, you can't go down when you stop losing…

I can relate, when I started using myfitnesspal a month ago, I was at my heaviest weight yet (234 pounds) I'm 5'4" and a size 18. I'm down 4 lbs right now, in about 5 weeks but that is just fine by me because this time, i want the weight to stay off. I've yo-yo'd a couple of times and it was all because I'd lose a bunch of…

Thank you! I am flying into Seattle, but my friend lives in Camano Island. We will be spending a couple of days in Seattle but then we are going to lots of places like snoqualmie falls and lake diablo. Lots of walking for sure lol

I have an IUD and I love it! I don't have to remember to take a pill everyday, it's wonderful

LOL a double decker deep dish meat lover's pizza with extra cheese would be one of the ways I'd enjoy myself XD

I go by the unit of measurement on the serving size. If it tells me a serving is 4 oz, I weigh out 4 oz, if it says a serving is 28 grams, I weigh 28 grams

If you can't resist temptation, then allow yourself to have a treat. just make sure you log it for the day. I try to leave extra calories for things that come up if I can.

This was perfect for me to read today! I've been trying MFP again, after many years of an "on again, off again" relationship with foods/diets. I decided that this time it was going to be different because this time it was going to be slow. I would no longer starve myself for short term results but I would keep my calories…

Thanks so much, I want to eat healthier things, but I guess if it's working, why fix what isn't broken.
-
This is just what I eat during my "calorie control" days to survive, my days leading up to using MFP, I ate sugar like crazy.

So glad to hear I am not the only one who obsesses about it, I have tried a couple of times where I went to the gym after dinner or even walked to sonic to get the ice cream so that I had to exercise to earn it and that seemed to help a lot, it's just difficult for me to get in the habit of doing it every day (I work from…

This is heartbreaking for me to read, I can't imagine how you must feel. The only thing that I could think of is that even though you have retained it for 2 months, it's still water weight. Do you track your sodium intake by chance? that one meal may have been high in sodium and then it never got fully flushed out of your…

Thanks for the responses everyone, I'm taking all of your advice to heart. I went ahead and put in everything I ate yesterday and it clocked in at around 4,000 calories. Being honest with myfitnesspal really helps me to see my flaws and helps me to understand how I gained the weight in the first place. I cannot have…

Ultimate weight loss goal, 80 lbs :)

I have felt the same and been in the same situation. I do use food scales and accurately measure my food portions. I struggle with losing weight of my own accord too. I have in the past gone on prescription weight loss medication, which did work, but then once I got off of it, I gained all of the weight back within 6…

Cute!

Thank you everyone! all of your responses have been very helpful, I really do appreciate it! :)

I've tried many different things in the past and honestly, I don't know what it is with my brain chemistry but the more extreme the diet is the easier it is for me to follow. I find that when I have more "leniency" then I tend to go overboard if that makes sense...

Thanks Fiddletime, Myfitnesspal estimated me to eat around 1590, So I will start off with that, I can always go down if I don't see results within the first month but I don't want to start out too low and struggle to stick with it. Eating super low calories has always led to me binge eating on the weekends where I struggle…

I'm Rebecca, I want to lose 80 pounds in total and I've lost 28 so far. I'd love for people to add me. :)
