i'm organising a Steampunk festival in Chepstow this May! freaking out a bit as it's almost there!
-
heh, you read my mid. Isn't River too?
-
was also told to eat everything off my plate as a child (think of the starving children in Africa!) so i've always felt i had to clear my plate until a couple years ago when i read the Paul McKenna book and since then will leave food when i feel full, in fact last night i left half my stir fry! i think if i hadn't read…

With a name like yours, how can i not want to add you! ;D
-
fabulous! you look way healthier :D
-
use a plain base, use low fat mozzarella sparingly, thin layer of tomato(passata?) and load up on the veggies and stick some herbs on there too! ;D
-
if you feel you can't eat more -maybe you need to change what you are eating so foods with higher carbs and protein rather than just fruit and veg? but seriously, you really need to stop punishing yourself. Your father sounds like a git and you need to realise that his opinion is bs and that unfortunatley just because…

as Missbeezy says -avoid processed foods and avoid adding salt to food-use herbs and spices instead :)

Saturday 6pm...i am there! :D Question is, who's going to die?
-
hi, uk too and eat mostly a veggie diet as other half is a veggie :) Protein can be gleaned from beans, quorn and nuts
-
i've found Madonnas Confession on a Dance Floor to be quite high energy and listen when i'm on my cross trainer, she's also good inspiration!
-
beans are great for protein and they really fill you up (my partner is veggie) Quorn is great too and low in fat if you want to get enough iron, then dark green veggies are your best bet

2nd one is really lovely, the 1st one looks a bit unbalanced

not diet related but really important problems with cola/diet cola: a- it's knackers your teeth. Carbonated drinks are high in carbonic acid and it strips your enamel off (i'm a dental hygienist and i see the effects of this daily at work) b- for women particularly, it affects the density of your bones ,increasing the risk…

i have rubbish knees! so my fave exercise is cycling and using my cross trainer as both are low impact. Good luck :)

thanks for the help :D

yeah, it's a damn shame -she was far too young to die at 63 :(

baking is just as good as broiling (grilling!) quite a good way of baking is to place the fish in aluminium/tin foil -fold the foil at the top so there is at least 1 inch between the fish and the top of the fish. This will kind of steam the fish. One of my prefered ways of cooking fish (though possibly controverisal) is to…

stunning! you are superb :D

would be great to have another friend for motivation!

possibly you need to tone up but more importantly, i think you need to get some self esteem. Body dysmorphia is very common but soul destroying. You need to learn to love yourself a bit more - you look lovely in your picture. Also, if you really do have another 9lbs to lose-then i imagine that will make a huge difference…

absolutely you can drink too much water and it can be fatal - a good example was a lady in the UK doing the Lighter Life diet. They recommend 4 litres of water a day -she drank that much in less than 2 hours and died of swelling of the brain. That's what happens to people who take recreational drugs such as E, they get…

5ft 7" SW -214 CW-210 GW -184 My GW would put me back to being a UK SIZE 14-16 which would make me very happy :)
-
my only question is about when you have your tea, is it with meals or inbetween? i ask because if it's inbetween, you are risking tooth decay due to the frequency of sugars attacking your teeth :)
-
well done! not only is that good for your health but you're also helping protect your teeth!
-
sugar in the form of Cadburys chocolate :( meh!
-
that's a great start, porridge is brill (though i only eat it in the winter) and it keeps you filled up all morning! again, swap crackers, etc for say a slice of wholemeal toast or a small handful or nuts (not salted or roasted) and that will keep you going
-
maybe you need some more complex carbohydrates - foods that release their sugar more slowly. I find what hits the spot is a piece of wholemeal toast with (thin layer) peanut butter or a banana as a snack like yesterday i was feeling really unsatified with my lunch, and it wasn't until i had a slice of wholemeal toast that…
