Yup...GAP was having a sale so I took advantage of it and ordered a shirt and a pair of jeans 2 sizes smaller (now 1 size). Every day I see that cute top hanging in the closet and think "I'm gonna wear that soon!"

Kids would leave out on their bikes and ride all day until the street lights came on and our parents never worried about us (or had cell phones they could call). Playing Frogger ALL night. Going to a game room (because we didn't have games we could play on our cell phones) Microwave ovens cost like $10,000 (not really, but…

I had a hysterectomy in April and I don't regret it AT ALL!! Ablasion was the first option but since there is no 100 % guarantee it will work I went for the hysterectomy (keeping the ovaries). I was out of work for 2 1/2 weeks. The only thing that sucks is no "relations" for 6 or more weeks, but so far so good. I feel…

Just think of it as one of the MANY compliments that are to come :flowerforyou:

I weigh every day the same as you but I don't log it on here until I lose. It doesn't drive me crazy or make me disappointed enough to give up if the scale doesn't move or, God forbid, goes up. I think each person handles it differently. If it works for you, keep doing it.
-
I logged it a few times, then I was like WTF am I doing? Really? I'm sure I walked that gum off from the office to my car.

Just a thought... When we get sick with a virus or cold I always spray everything down with Lysol, then get a new toothbrush. Toothbrushes harbor all those nasty cold germs. That may not help with your diet, but it may keep you from getting sick again.

Not trying to be rude, but you can't eat Hot Pockets every day and expect to lose weight. You're not getting enough nutrients from your food. Maybe give lean meats, fruits and veggies a try (unless you are a vegan) and see if that helps.

I was fortunate that although I was a long term smoker I've never been a heavy smoker. For the last 2 years I stopped bringing them to work and only smoked when I got home. In Feb I got a respiratory infection and wasn't able to tolerate cig smoke so after a week I decided to not pick them up again. It hasn't been too…

Tip: Move your scale to the thinnest part of the house (that's what I would do!)

Even with my bed head and morning breath, he kisses me EVERY morning before he leaves for work and tells me that I'm beautiful

I have a major sweet tooth and when I tried low-carb diets that was always my weakness. As soon as I went off my diet I would devour ice cream like nobody's business. Since I've been on MFP I can eat anything as long as I track it. The best thing I've found so far is almond milk, dry powdered fat-free sugar-free pudding…

I had the same issue thinking it was my pillow that was causing pain from my shoulder blade all the way up the back of my neck. I got our Physical Therapist at work to adjust me (like a Chiropractor) and since then the pain is gone.

I have to log my food ahead of time, (sometimes for several days) otherwise I would go way over. Then it gives me the opportunity to tweak a few items so I can stay closer to my numbers. Ex: If I'm over on fat I can cut out 1 tsp of margarine in a recipe. It's made a big difference since I started doing it that way. Good…

I think it's good to fall of the wagon sometimes. When you eat crap, you feel like crap. It's a great reminder of why you're doing this :o)
-
I weigh every day but I only log it if there's a change.

I wouldn't say anything. It's your child, you choose how you raise them and it's certainly not my place to voice my opinion to a child...that's just being rude. My daughter is 11 and I won't allow her to have a phone and probably won't until she's much older (maybe 16 but probably 17). I know that might sound like I'm…

Same here. I got the fettuccini ones that were suggested on the HG website. I thought they would be delicious but I couldn't stand the texture. Like soggy rubber bands. Maybe I did something wrong?

1/2 cup Coffee + 1 cup almond breeze unsweetened almond milk + 2 Tbsp Hershey's sugar-free chocolate syrup + 1 pk Stevia + cool whip free = Chocolate Iced Coffee 71 calories Also, check out www.capellaflavordrops.com . They have no-calorie/carb/sugar flavored drops in a gazillion flavors. I like to use the cheesecake…

I spread the strawberry cream cheese flavor on low fat waffles or pancakes instead of using syrup and use the swiss flavored ones in just about every recipe I tweak that calls for cream cheese. Look up www.hungry-girl.com website. She has tons of recipes on there using it.

Plan your meals ahead of time, even for several days ahead of time then STICK TO IT! Read labels. You're mostly looking at calories, but watch the fat/carbs/sugar content as well. MFP will recommend what your goals should be and try to stay within those limits. Drink lots of water. I know, it's not tasty like a soda, but…

If I have a cheat meal it just ends up being the whole day. I can't help it...I'm just weak like that...LOL I've decided the best thing to do is if I want to have a cheat meal it should be the last meal of the day and that way I won't have ruined my whole day. Bad thing is, it doesn't seem to matter because I can have 1…

I use the Joseph's pita too. They are only 60 calories and low in carbs/sugar too. I make white pizza, veggie, BBQ chicken pizza and even Mexican pizza with those as a crust.

Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches are SOOO good for 150 calories. I do make my own ice cream out of frozen chopped banana, almond milk and vanilla in a mini chopper. It makes a big serving for a lot fewer calories and you can also add toppings as long as you count them :flowerforyou:
