congrats on everyone's success! I myself have lost 10 lbs and 6", with an undetermined amount to go... somewhere around 8 to 10 more... I am quite proud and can tell a huge difference. :)

trust your HRM, not MFP, MFP usually overestimates the calories burned. I burned around 146.

eat them before or after a workout but I wouldn't go overboard. If you're worried about it, just eat it as I mentioned. I had one today before my workout. I do not really eat them otherwise. They are not bad for you, they just have high carbs/sugars. If you aren't worried about that then you are fine to eat them.

Got married when I was 20 and he was 24. No engagement period (unless you count two weeks, it was a shotgun wedding before he got sent off). Been married 3 years and 4 months. Woohoo! Oh we were together... for about 2 years before marriage.

all of my family teases me about being a freak with my calorie counting and carb counting and high protein, but I do not care. My hubby is into eating well anyways, and if anything I used to be the one to encourage him to indulge but now we are on the same page. We have more in common now that I have hopped on the…

I drink at least 64 oz a day regularly but often an extra 32 oz . I just drink more when I am doing a hard work out, so I am going to calculate my amount!

When I firs started increasing my water intake, I had to get up at least 2 times. Now I go RIGHT before I get in bed, and once I wake up (sometimes earlier than I like) I have to pee right away.

I take Zoloft, absolutely no trouble here. Maybe you are not eating enough calories?

working out late usually interrupts my sleep but then so do other things. I work out at night if I have the desire. Go for it!

ahaha! Can't believe I read this entire debate... funny. phew. People get pretty worked up in the great food/drink debate!

I have no idea, but I assume hormones. I get *****y and mean for some reason, usualy PMS or the fact that I feel he is not heping me out enough... (stay @ home mom). When I am nice... I do not know. That is a really, really bad idea. Period. It does nothing... NOTHING for FAT loss. Water yes, but fat.... no.

I love how when people are being rude, they say "not to be rude" My point is do what you want, just most people are not aware of what they are doing to themselves. Not necessarily people on here, I am just saying education is a good idea about foods and beverages. I am not trying to diss anyone's choices, I am just saying…

if you throw back several a day and pair it with a salty meal, it adds up. Sodium also exacerbates thirst

I quit because of all of the ingredients- nothing beneficial in them and just not good for you. I drink only water and almond milk. I do not miss it like I thought I would, but I do occasionally want a sip of a regular soda, just to remember I do not really want one!! Caramel Coloring is not that good for you either....

I agree that a calorie is a calorie when it comes down to it, but making your calories REAL food, as little processed as possible is optimal. But to each his own. Yes, you will still get fat if you consume mega-calories of either healthy food or processed foods. An occasional (really occasional) twinkie won't kill you... I…

i like NMTZ except I dread doing it because of its length and it is one that I cannot stand to do every day. I would rather work out 45 min on the bike but at least NMTZ has some weights in it to help sculpt.

I drink whey protein shakes before a workout and also at least once for a snack every day. I take fish oil too.. you should look into taking that. I take calcium2x a day as well. Also I am starting branched chain amino acids

eat some cashews, walnuts, almonds. If you have peanut butter, try and make it natural to cut out sugar. Nonfat plain greek yogurt is a good snack, just put some jam to sweeten it or honey. Make turkey muffins, I love that I can make a dozen and have plenty on hand for snacks! Protein is always filling

Cherry Juice Concentrate has been shown to ease joint pain. I take one ounce before my workouts just for the carbs, but do some research on it and see what you think. It is a wee bit pricey but if it works for you then it should be okay. Try Amazon.com

read this earlier on yahoo health. I was grossed out as well. Thankfully, I haven't been eating any of that stuff recently. *shiver*

I have a Polar FT4 and it always come under what programs say about how many calories I should burn, but I think it has to do with your HR, THR, and how long you are in zone. For example, doing Biggest Loser Cardio Max levels 2 & 3 straight thru, I burn 198 calories. I am 137.2 lbs, 5' 3" and 23 years old.
