@mandeiko: Gorgeous eyes and sexy pout!!

Imagine how the DVDs would look if they DIDN'T hand-pick people from the test groups for specific workouts. I know it would encourage me to slack off... Imagine the big guy from Back & Biceps doing Yoga. HA!!! Syd, I agree with Amy: Yoga helps a lot with chaturangas and military push-ups, especially since you go into…

Whipping out my Summer clothes only to find that they were too tight.

Menu items and their nutritional data CAN be misleading, but I think you dropped the ball on this one. Serving size should always be one of the first things you look at. Also, you say "every time" you go to Panera... I would take the time to pick out a few menu items that are low-cal so that when you go, it's not so hard…

Which came first - the chicken or the egg? I have that shirt...

My desire is that I make it home today - I put my last $7 in my tank this morning to make it to work. I live almost 30 miles away from my job.

Awwww bump!

I always shake it once or twice in the mirror. I shake just as hard everyday as I did the day before, but there seems to be less jigglage in the wrong places - still the same amount of jigglage in the right places.

I'll be done with P90X in September. My plan is to start Insanity this Fall. With P90X - I feel great, I'm stronger, I'm faster, I'm more disciplined. I'm not as ripped as I would like to be, but hey, it's not even Day 60 yet, so *fingers crossed*. I would love to hear how your experience with the program goes.

As I stand up and take a bow, I say "Thank you." You GET me like no one has ever gotten me before.

So true. It takes every fiber of my being to work out during my TOM, but I feel sooooo much better after I do. I even have less cramps and bloating. Increase your dairy and iron intake, drink lots of water, eat some dark chocolate.

Yea, it's a little frustrating that we work soooo hard at Yoga and it burns less calories than the other workouts. In the past, I would've written hate notes to Yoga X if possible; now I feel great after I've completed it. Usually after Chest/Shoulders/Tri, Plyo, and Back/Biceps, I spend those three days walking around and…

I'm my own favorite artist because I'm also my only fan and I'm the only person who thinks I sound good.

Having excessive weight on your body is bad in general. It puts added pressure on your joints and organs. An obese person is going to more have trouble walking barefoot than someone who weighs less because their knees probably hurt or something. It makes sense that wearing heels will become easier, but by no means should…

I would LOVE to do Insanity. I'm absolutely terrified, but I really wanna give it a try. I'll keep going to martial arts class; I'll just go more often. I'm going to start a new program (most likely a Beach Body one) in October/November just to stay focused during the holidays.

Modification is key!!!! I have a broken toe - I still do martial arts, I'm doing P90X, and I go cycling. I just started going on long walks and jogging again. Since your injury is recent, I would recommend cycling and activities that don't involve you putting too much pressure on it. Balance ball exercises, ab work, upper…

Trimmed. Anywhere you want my lips to go should be well-groomed. Anywhere else is of no importance. Completely shaved or waxed is too feminine.

Sounds awesome!!!! Wish I had something like that in my area... I take my dog with me when I run, and it definitely falls under the HIIT category. One minute he's sprinting, the next he's sniffing some bush, then the next he's trotting along like a regal pooch.

The entire Lion King soundtrack.

I'm doing P90X right now and wanna do Insanity after. I'm terrified. Absolutely terrified. Congrats!!

Yes!!!! Usually I carry my soreness well, but for the first time after I did Plyo yesterday, I felt an unignorable amount of pain in my knees and a good kind of soreness in my quads. I've been squatting every chance I get just to keep my joints oiled and my blood circulating, but it hurts! Hopefully it'll go away in a…

Men panic, and when they do, they make YOU feel bad about THEIR issues. Congrats on your weight loss!!
-
I would've bought it!! Awesome that you didn't, though. That means you're determined to meet your goals and won't become complacent with being ALMOST there. Congrats!! My weight has been disappointing, so I finally got with the program and took measurements on Friday. I'm looking forward to my rest week just so I can BRING…

I didn't say Black women are naturally overweight; I said many of them, not all, naturally have curves. I don't believe women of any race are naturally big, and the fact that you inferred that having curves means you're big demonstrates your misunderstanding. Many Black people get heart disease and diabetes from their…

I think you're missing an important point - many Black women naturally have curves. Beyonce is not overweight. You can have a huge *kitten* and have abs. Look at Serena Williams. It's should never be acceptable to have a gut and chow down on fried chicken all day; belly fat is dangerous, but for those women who naturally…

I fixed the sweet potato pancakes this morning and they were soooooooo goooooood!!! It seriously felt like November. Who needs pie when you have these pancakes? I drizzled 0.5 tsp of honey on them and topped them with Justin's Maple Almond Butter. (All natural! You should totally try it).
-
I recommend using the all natural Justin's Chocolate Hazelnut Butter. Its tastes just like Nutella but with less sugar and carbs. Generally better for you.
-
I actually bought a sweet potato 2 days ago to try the recipe with!! Still haven't done it yet, but I love the idea of adding oats. Thanks again!

Wow, bump

I think I'm in love with you.
