The treadmill is a last resort. It's great for late night exercising and the cold months when we don't have much daylight (I don't mind running in the cold, it's just not safe for me to run when it's dark). The road is awesome. The treadmill does a little of the work for you. The road is unforgiving. It's also different…

I did Core Synergistics this morning! Burned 105 calories less doing it this time than I did on Sunday; hopefully it's because it's getting easier because I definitely brought it!!! Only paused it once, too! (My dog sat on me during Sphinx Push-Ups - had to get him off me). I decided that a quick walk/jog (walking boot and…

How many servings does this make? Do you know how much batter makes 1 serving?

LOVE the ideas! I usually eat a square or two of dark chocolate and dip it in a teaspoon of honey. I'm looking for new ideas though because I go absolutely insane during my menses.

I'll be done with Round 1 on Friday. I was doing the Lean version but I'm switching to Classic for Round 2-3. I've only lost about 8 lbs. since I started. I've been afraid to weigh myself recently. *Fingers crossed* I most certainly am more toned. Not quite ripped yet but people have been noticing the difference. I still…

I have a lot, but nobody has all day. "Whole Lotta Love" - Led Zeppelin "Move B!*ch" - Ludacris (esp. when running down the street) "Ironside" - Quincy Jones

Don't know if he liked it, but he sure as hell didn't put a ring on it...

Doesn't matter. As long as you're eating when you're hungry and not eating too much at one time, it's up to you. When I categorized my meals and snacks, I just dispersed the calories reasonably. (Now I have everything in time blocks).

If I'm hungry, yes, I'll eat some of the calories back. If I'm not, no, I'll stick to the 1500 that I allotted for myself.

I broke my toe on May 11th and I'm still in a walking boot. I'm doing P90X and martial arts, and I think the key here is modification. I know I can't run or jog like I used to with my dog, but I can walk just fine and there's nothing wrong with that. There's a mud race coming up that I can't participate in, so I know how…

Growing up, I was a Bugs Bunny fanatic. But without bias, I will say I R Baboon, Johnny Bravo, and Uncle Ruckus are my top 3.

Peanut butter and honey!!! Right on the spoon! The key is don't lie about it. If you're eating 4 tbsp instead of 1, track it in your diary.

Hate watermelon, or any melon for that matter.

Along those lines, I sometimes make a homemade McGriddle. (I need to get back to the store to keep making these). This is just a copy and paste from a previous post of mine: De Wafelbakkers have great pancakes. (http://www.dewafelbakkers.com/pancakes.html). I've tried the Maple ones and the A+ Cinnamon Sweet Potato ones.…

I think it's obvious how terrible they are. Some of them look good, though; however, we have the knowledge to know better and the will to stay away!

You're so pretty (then AND now)!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chocolate, caramel, and honey. Thank goodness for all natural protein bars.

I absolutely adore that idea.

I have a tattoo that goes from my side (right beside my boob) down to my hip. It hurt like hell, worse than any other tatt I've gotten, but totally worth it.

Got my first compliment yesterday!!!! I need to start taking pictures. To be honest, when I started P90X I was so skeptical about it being THAT effective but I'm obviously wrong. I guess we'll see for sure in 60 days. I don't have abs yet but I got complimented on my arms/shoulders/back - said there was a major difference.…

I did core synergistics on Sunday and I burned 490 calories (according to my HRM). It was Day 2 of my recovery week.

I'm 5'3.5" currently at about 146; wanna get down to 115, maybe 125 and take it from there. I looked gorgeous at 135 but would like to see how toned I can get without looking too skinny.

Do you measure yourself? Have you lost inches? It depends on how often you run. When you give your muscles a break, they adjust to your body's transformation efforts. When I played basketball in high school, we would practice everyday during conditioning. We had a few days off and during the break, my biceps appeared out…

Boo boo, they are all right - the recipe tool works wonders. However, when I cook, MY issue is not measuring what I'm putting in. You know, you look at it and taste it and say, "Okay, that's enough sauce" or "It needs more salt", etc. You just eye it, take a bite, and keep it moving. I had to start measuring my…

I love the variety in goal weights. For a long time I thought that women my height should be about 120 lbs at most. I was NEVER that small as a woman and I had so many insecurities about my weight. The heaviest I've been is 154 and people have always looked at me and considered me to be skinny, even women who were smaller…

Your tatts are gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!

I eat them whenever I want one, but NEVER as a meal replacement. I work out in the morning, so a protein-filled breakfast follows. I may eat a bar as a snack before or after my martial arts class in the evening. If I have a sweet tooth, I grab an all natural protein bar and I'm satisfied.
