I mix mine in a bowl with 1/2 cup fat free cottage cheese, some garlic pepper, diced cucumber and toss a tablespoon of sliced almonds in. Yummy! :-)

I have 8, it definitely depends on your level of pain tolerance, where you're getting tattooed, and the size/complexity of the tattoo. I've had ones that didn't hurt at all like the ones on my arms.
