With my ex husband it was when he decided after he lost his job that it wasn't important to get a new one. I gave him 6 months to find a new job (he was a busboy when we got married so it wouldn't have taken much to find something equivalent) and he decided to play video games every day instead. :explode: With my ex after…

Robin is so wise. I met Robin by us posting the same responses at the same time (Princess Bride quotes) in a thread. Just get out there and find people you think are cool and send them a friend request with a message on why you want to add them. It's just like real life, you have to put yourself out there. You can't just…

I have had a few items in my Cart on Target.com for weeks now thinking I might hit some good deals for Cyber Monday. Nope. Same price. :grumble: So I am not buying anything and will be going into the store to save myself $9 in shipping.

 Very good point! :drinker:

I get what you are saying. When I joined MFP 4 years ago (maybe closer to 5) the community was much smaller and therefore people were more polite because it wasn't as anonymous as it is now. It was more of a close family. MFP has definitely grown over the years and with that you get more of all types. Just seek out people…

I am pregnant right now with my second one. I did NOT miss the bloodhound nose that pregnancy gives you. I can smell everything and everything friggin stinks!! Other than that, I can't really remember So I am sure I will be adding to the list as I go on. I did miss feeling the baby move, I can't wait to feel that again!.…

No but with pants like that he looks like a guy I'd like to know.

Right! Twinkies are gross anyway. But they will probably be Little Debbie Twinkies in a few months so don't worry your pretty little head about it. :drinker:
-
You are welcome.

I usually brush it off and walk away because I am afraid of the scenario you laid out. People are crazy and you never know what will set someone off. :ohwell:
-
Here ya go, probably better for you to make them yourself. http://www.simplemathbakery.com/blog/2010/02/05/homemade-twinkies

Nope, no more Twinkies now. Hostess is shutting down.

^ This! I use my pizza stone for so many things. I love it! It depends on the couple.I recently went to a wedding where the couple has been together for 8 years and living together for 6 of those. They pretty much have everything they need for their house so we gave them money. I know when my husband and I did our…

I was on the front page of our local paper once. Sitting on my friends shoulders at a musical festival. :smokin:

That is a very good point. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying this isn't unacceptable. I just find it baffling what people will get so outraged over while other things that are just as despicable go on without much notice.
-
I mean, I don't get the outrage over the fact that he had an affair...I am just more concerned that the director of the CIA couldn't keep an affair secret...makes you wonder what other junk he was screwing up?
-
Ok, I'll give you that. My next question, Do people realize that this has been going on (arms trading and consulate deaths) for years and under multiple administrations? I guess I am just wondering is this outrage over the issues or because of who is in office?
-
Yea, maybe people aren't taking it as a scientific curiosity because you are basically saying people are faking or it is "in their head". You can't have it both ways. I am just wondering why... People are full of *kitten* Perhaps it is that disregard for what is truly going on that has people questioning your intentions of…

No, I am simply trying to understand why there is outrage over Benghazi when our men and women have been dying for 10 years and people aren't outraged at that?

Also, my insurance is not the best so I can not afford to go through the testing required to get an official diagnosis. My self diagnosis of "I eat this food and feel these symptoms so I am not going to eat this food" works for me. That is why I say "intolerance" instead of 'allergy'. I have talked to other people that…

Perfect. Thank you! :flowerforyou:

I would say after 2 solid years of feeling like absolute crap and many doctor visits later with no answers...then me cutting out gluten and instantly feeling better and now when I "slip up" instantly feeling crappy again is a bit more than coincidence. But it is fine that you don't understand it. You aren't in my body. You…
-
^ YES!!! :flowerforyou: There is a difference between intolerance and allergy and I do think people get that mixed up. However, to question what someone has figured out in their own body is ridiculous. People look at me like I am crazy when I tell them after 2 years I finally figured out my body does not like wheat. Then I…

^^ THIS!! I have developed an intolerance to Gluten over the last few years (only just figured it out). I do not believe our food is made the same as it used to be. Ie: growing it from a natural seed. Now everything is genetically modified, sprayed during the growing process, then who knows what is done to it during the…
