I think eating more calories to "get your metabolism working" is a mistake. What makes you think there is something wrong with your metabolism? If you eat less calories, you will lose more weight. It's simple math. But, you do have to eat enough calories to stay healthy (my guess is 1100, as one poster said, is too little-…

Wait, it says you joined in May, so you lost 6 pounds in about a month? That sounds like results to me! I guess maybe I don't understand the question.

Tiredmom, I work full time with two toddlers. I think you have to cook some meals or prep on the weekends so on weeknights you just have to heat things up. On Sunday we grilled steak and we have some of that left over for a weeknight meal. I cooked a stew with chiken thighs so on Monday we only had to cook some rice and…

Some of the comments on here are insane! Did you know that just 4 visits to a tanning salon per year can increase your risk of skin cancer by 11%? Did you know that skin cancer does not have to "run in your family" for you to get it? And what's with these "what doesn't give you cancer- lol?" comments? What does that even…

I'm eating my exercise calories back! For me, the 1200 calories I'm allowed to eat is sooo little. So, if I burn 200 calories exercising, I really need to eat that 200 calories.

I'm losing between 1 and 2 lbs, so this might not be directly responsive to your question. But it has been consistent for the last 2 weeks. I've been sticking to 1200 calories a day pretty religiously. I run 3 times a week, for 30 minutes each time. I walk about 1.5 miles per day (my commute). But, I was doing the exercise…
