This happened to me last week when I found one of my "club" dresses from... I don't know, 15 years ago? I tried it on as a joke to show my nieces my 90s early 00s wardrobe choices. It was a little loose. ;)

I get Joe's, Seven, True Religion, and Humanity... all from Goodwill for under $5 a pair. When I go to Plato's Closet, I usually find them from $15-$20. Love living in a college town.
-
I'll have to suggest that to my friend....
-
So sorry, off topic but this is awesome. Just the kind of towns I grew up in or have always lived in. Made me laugh out loud.

Wow. Greasy?

Welcome back!! Lots of advice on these boards about starting strength training!
-
Had a conversation about this not long ago. A friend was telling me about a guy at his gym who will blow dry himself while having conversations with everyone coming/going from the locker room. The image still makes me crack up every time I picture it. Even more because I can totally imagine my friend's total discomfort…
-
***Bonus: Now I'm walking around all conscious of my posture.

-
Whoa. I would either be having exactly that conversation after class or I would not be in that class.

I've been going since late April, just hit 51 lbs. Totally do-able! I started about 20 lbs lighter than you, but am also 5'2". You can do it! ***edited to add: hit the strength training extra hard! I wish I had done so earlier.

a) Not sticking it out on purpose. It's bad posture plus what I think is some real curvature. My niece has it too. Yikes. b) You're probably right about why they didn't mention it.
-
This explains so much. Why has no doctor ever mentioned this to me?

I have my Master's degree, but long before I received it I applied logic, reason and emotion to determine that kids [of my own - I'm great with other people's kids] were not and should not be in my future.

Feel free to add y'all!! Always up for more support and motivation.

True Lies *hangs head*

Me TOO. I would be supergluing my feet to the ground prob. ***But seriously, I do understand for OP that this is a very serious concern and my thoughts and prayers are with you that you will get preggers in no time. Years ago, my best friend went through a period of trying for 2 1/2 years, having scores of tests done on…

^^^That. Or, "hey , we're going out to eat at the Mexican restaurant today, but ohhhhh, I guess there isn't anything you can eat there." How many times can I say, I eat whatever I want. Most of the time lately, I WANT things that are healthier and that I can fill up on and stay filled up, but I eat every kind of food I…

My bust has gone from a 36DD to a 32D, which is fine, except that I really love my boobs. My waist/hip ratio has stayed fine with my waist going down along with everything else, but my biggest change as been that my behind is disappearing. I'm squatting and lunging for all I'm worth trying to make sure that as much of my…

^^^^^ Best answer. I'm a shorty. I date a shorty. In my favorite boots I may be taller than him. All he says is , "Dang, I like those boots!"

Hot spiced/mulled cider with Apple Pie moonshine. Mmmmmmm. If it doesn't cure what's ailing you, then drink a little more and you'll have recovered by the time you wake up.

When my sis was 16 (I was 11) she had just gotten her driver's license. The last present under the tree was a small box. When she opened it, there was a key. Our parents said, "That goes to the neighbor's garage. Go ahead, check it out!" We bolted next door, all excited, chattering and squealing. When we unlocked and…

SO, not exactly an answer to your question about accuracy, but I was at my sis's this weekend and she has a Tanita scale that weighs, gives an estimated body fat %, and other body comp measurements. I know it's not completely accurate, btu I loved getting all that data. It's a very cool scale.
-
This made me laugh out loud.

Wearing a size 6 skirt today. Hellz yeah.

Hey, 5'2". Started at 185, 8 months or so later, now down to 134! Focusing on tight now, not so much on loss. Though, I will say I wish I had been focusing on tight from the beginning! Feel free to add. Seeing other people's journey helps me keep on top of my own!

I have the same thing. If I go home before hitting the gym, I am not going to the gym. I pack my gym bag at night, making sure I have everything I need. That way, I've already committed some time to it. I take my gym bag with me in the morning (and now, I take it into work so it isn't sitting in my cold car). I go directly…

Kind Chewy with a Crunch Maple Pumpkin Seed. Not exactly candy bar, more granola bar. I love them and have one every day. It's my dessert or my pick me up before the gym. 150 cals and yummy yummy. Having one of those gives me something pre-portioned with a good calorie estimate that I know I love so I won't grab nuts…

So, my side note was deleted somehow, but: I'm at my sis's this week and she has this super involved Tanita scale that measures weight, body fat%, everything. I'm a little obsessed with it. I get her from work and weigh. I work out and weigh. I shower and weigh. I love gadgets and now I really want one of these. It's going…

I use digital, but would say the important part is really using the same scale with the same settings all the time. That way you should be able yo count on measurements and downward trends as consistent. Different scales can give different readings. Side note that goes against what I just said
